More and more we are seeing an opening in America to paganism, false religions and open Satanism. The strange invocation that came from the Lake Worth, Florida City Commission meeting on December 2 of this year exemplifies this, only it was apparently an anti-theist that gave the invocation.

Only the demonstrations in Berkeley are still ongoing, although they too are finally coming to an end. As I wrote about yesterday, both sides of the conflict have engaged in shortsighted and destructive tactics to achieve their goals. WASHINGTON – When I was last at the D.C. police headquarters, they explained to me that I can’t apply for a gun carry permit just because I need to defend myself in a city with high crime. I had to prove a “special” danger, according to the new law. So that’s what I set out to do.

All Americans –- not just Washingtonians — can apply for a D.C. permit to carry a concealed handgun. But you have to prove you have specific threats against you or previous attacks. So far, the police have only gotten 47 permit applications. DENVER — Just one week after FOX31 Denver first aired a citizen’s videotape of a police officer punching a drug suspect in the face, then tripping his pregnant girlfriend, the Denver Police Department has given that same officer a promotion.

Charles “Chris” Jones IV is one of five officers who received a raise and new sergeant stripes on Wednesday during a ceremony.
