A US federal court has released new video footage showing California prison guards repeatedly spraying mentally ill inmates with pepper spray in an apparent attempt to convince the prisoners to take their medication.

California policy requires officers in the Department of Corrections to film all cell extractions. The footage in question was played in court in October as part of an inmate’s lawsuit seeking to halt the use of pepper spray against the growing mentally ill prison population.    Continue reading “Graphic court video shows prison guards deploying pepper spray on mentally ill inmate”

Los Angeles – The rapid police response to today’s deadly shooting at a terminal in the Los Angeles Int’l Airport (LAX) was no accident, according to LAX Police Chief Patrick Gannon, because his officers prepared for an event identical to the shooting weeks in advance.

“We practiced to this not more than 3 weeks ago,” said Gannon at a press conference hours after the shooting. “We took every one of our patrol officers and a couple hundred officers from the Los Angeles Police Department and we practiced the exact scenario we played out today.”   Continue reading “LAX Shooting: Police trained for ‘exact scenario’ 3 weeks ago”

My son was with the Police Department of a large southern California city for several years, and that certainly does not make me an authority on the subject of police departments, and having a number of friends in several other police organizations does about the same.  However, being ex-military, I do have some understanding of a “chain of command” and a hierarchy structure of authorities.     Continue reading “To The American Constabulary: Uphold THE Law of Our Land or Throw Down Your Badges”

Rather than you watching television, it is they who are watching you! Verizon has recently patented a cable DVR box that will use audio and video to record and analyze what’s going on in your living room so that they can provide targeted ads in real time on the TV to suit what’s going on. Now, one reason may be advertising and marketing, but since they can listen and watch, just think, smile you may be on candid camera!  Continue reading “Cameras in Your Cable Box Watching You in Your Home Watching Television”

During Wednesday’s congressional testimony, a heated exchange occurred between Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-NC) and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius over one of the still-unexploded controversies in the ObamaCare law: the fact that ObamaCare’s so-called “robust” coverage is in reality your government forcing you to pay for coverage that includes expensive services millions will never need. Ellmers called Sebelius out specifically for forcing men to buy maternity coverage.   Continue reading “Sebelius: ‘Men Often Do Need Maternity Care’”

North Carolina police are refusing to release video footage and other evidence that could shed light on an unarmed man’s death at the hands of an officer.

According to Chris Chestnut, the lawyer representing the unarmed man’s family, the police department’s unwillingness to release the footage recorded by a police cruiser’s dash cam casts doubt on the integrity of an ongoing investigation.   Continue reading “North Carolina police refuse to release video of cops shooting unarmed man”

It’s hard to decide which is scarier: a grinning “Barack Obama” wearing a straightjacket or the reaction to his appearance at one company’s annual Halloween costume party.

An employee of Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Ky., must have thought he had the costume contest all sewn up when he sauntered into the party wearing an Obama mask and a straightjacket.   Continue reading “‘Obama’ Wears Straight Jacket, Crowd Goes Insane”

Nano-particles of uranium, cesium and iron are being condensed at extremely high temperatures into Buckyballs.  They have a particulate effect and harm cellular processes. This has never happened in a nuclear power accident but is seen in Depleted Uranium at 5,000 degrees Centigrade (9,032  Fahrenheit.)

Cesium was found in plankton between Hawaii and California. Plankton bio-accumulates radiation. A gram of plankton has 1,000 times as much cesium as a gram of seawater. Seaweed off the coast of California tested positive both for cesium and cobalt 60.   Continue reading “Video: Fukushima is Frying The World.”
