Bicycling – by David Colon

In the video, the cyclist gets thrown from his bike, sails through the air, and hits the ground hard.

Heins Rodriguez, a 26-year-old from Queens, New York, was riding his bike in the Corona neighborhood on August 13, 2015. Based on surveillance footage from the area, we know how the ride ended: A pair of police officers following Rodriguez in an unmarked car veered toward him, running him off the road and possibly striking him. Rodriguez crashed on the sidewalk, landing on his side.   Continue reading “Why Did Police Run This Cyclist Off His Bike?”

Thomasville, GA — Thomasville police officers have been cleared by a grand jury in the shooting death of 37-year-old Herbert Gilbert Jr. Following the grand jury’s ruling that the officer-involved-shooting was justified, Thomasville Police released body camera footage of the deadly encounter. The graphic footage shows Gilbert’s attempt to flee in his SUV, only to be gunned down by officers who presumably feared for their lives. Gilbert did not have a gun, was not attempting to run-over any officers, and was actually backing up his vehicle when officer Josh Smith shot him 8 times through the windshield. His original crime? He had an illegal plant.   Continue reading “Video Shows Horrors of Drug War as Cops Corner Unarmed Man for Having a Plant, Execute Him”

BERKELEY, Calif. — Many people have grown accustomed to talking to their smart devices, asking them to read a text, play a song or set an alarm. But someone else might be secretly talking to them, too.

Over the last two years, researchers in China and the United States have begun demonstrating that they can send hidden commands that are undetectable to the human ear to Apple’s Siri, Amazon’s Alexa and Google’s Assistant. Inside university labs, the researchers have been able to secretly activate the artificial intelligence systems on smartphones and smart speakers, making them dial phone numbers or open websites. In the wrong hands, the technology could be used to unlock doorswire money or buy stuff online — simply with music playing over the radio.   Continue reading “Alexa and Siri Can Hear This Hidden Command. You Can’t.”

Under a Department of Justice program known as “Equitable Sharing,” local police are being deputized as federal agents in order to participate in Joint Terrorism Task Forces, enabling them to bypass their state’s own forfeiture and surveillance laws so they can spy on individuals suspected of terrorism or other crimes falling under federal jurisdiction.

This is according to an online article written by the Tenth Amendment Center’s Director of Communications Michael Maharrey. In the article, entitled “Local Cops Skirt State Limits on Surveillance by Joining Federal Task Forces,” Maharrey writes:   Continue reading “DOJ’s Stealth Nationalization of Local Police”

It appears the police in Brookhaven, Georgia are not content with just having their own ‘Operation Plugged In’ cam-share program.

Georgia state Sen. Michael Williams made waves with his “deportation bus” ad, and for several hours, YouTube had taken the video down for violating its hate speech policy before later putting it back up, The Hill reported.

THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! Our government is handing out millions to sham daycare centers run by Somali Muslims who came to the US as refugees. They’re now scamming and stealing taxpayer dollars.  Millions of taxpayer dollars appear to be going to support terrorists in the Middle East and Africa by using childcare centers as fronts, according to an investigation in Minnesota.   Continue reading “$100 MILLION IN 2017: Minnesota Muslims Sending Suitcases Full Of Gov’t Money To Fund Terrorists Abroad”

Newark, Delaware – Police officers are being criticized for their response to a call about two stray dogs, and the concerned citizen who called animal control to ask for help is saying that the officers’ actions were actually what she hoped she could save the dogs from.

Leigh Spencer told Fox 29 that she was horrified when she witnessed the officers intentionally trying to run over over the dogs with their patrol cars. “I was the one that called Animal Control, and this was the outcome,” she said.   Continue reading “Woman Calls for Help to Catch Two Dogs, Cops Respond by Running Over, Shooting Them”
