ABC News – by DONNA CASSATA Associated Press

The Senate is moving forward on the first major bill barring workplace discrimination against gays in nearly two decades as Americans’ shifting views about homosexuality have significantly changed the political dynamic.

Seven Republicans and 54 Democrats stood together Monday and cleared the bill past its first hurdle on a 61-30 procedural vote, setting the stage for debate on Tuesday and possible passage by week’s end. The Employment Non-Discrimination Act would prohibit workplace discrimination against gay, bisexual and transgender Americans.   Continue reading “Senate Moves Ahead on Gay Rights Bill”

Police secure the area after reports that a gunman fired shots at the Garden State Plaza mall in Paramus, New Jersey, November 4, 2013. REUTERS-Ray StubblebineReuters – by Barbara Goldberg

A gunman opened fire in a crowded New Jersey mall late on Monday before killing himself, officials said, sparking a mass evacuation of the complex by police who did not realize he was dead for several hours.

The man shot at least six rounds from a modified rifle seemingly at random and without hitting anyone, before turning the gun on himself in a back area of the mall, Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli told a news conference early on Tuesday.   Continue reading “Gunman kills himself after opening fire in New Jersey mall”

Root for America – by Wayne Allyn Root

There are 2 major political parties in America. I’m a member of the naïve, stupid, and cowardly one. I’m a Republican. How stupid is the GOP? They still don’t get it. I told them 5 years ago, 2 books ago, a national bestseller ago (“The Ultimate Obama Survival Guide”), and in hundreds of articles and commentaries, that Obamacare was never meant to help America, or heal the sick, or lower healthcare costs, or lower the debt, or expand the economy.   Continue reading “Why Obamacare is a Fantastic Success”

Lead Alum BatteryPrimed Preppers

We’ve all turned the ignition on our cars only to hear nothing when we expect it to crank. Usually we hitch a ride to the auto parts store and grab a new battery and turn in the old one to eliminate the dreaded core charge which is mandated by our lovely government. Before you turn the battery in, let me offer you an alternative use for those old car batteries.    Continue reading “Restore Old Car Batteries Using Alum”

Chinese map showing nuclear strikes on Los AngelesThe Free Beacon – by Bill Gertz

The Obama administration declined to comment on Sunday on provocative state-run Chinese media reports outlining Beijing’s nuclear war plans, including land-based and submarine-launched missile strikes on U.S. cities that would kill up to 12 million people.

State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf and Pentagon spokeswoman Cynthia Smith would not respond when asked about the highly unusual Chinese reports published Oct. 28 in numerous major Communist Party-controlled television and newspaper outlets.   Continue reading “Pentagon, State Department silent on reports outlining Chinese nuclear attack plans on U.S. cities”

LAHT | MEXICO CITY – Mexico received $5.54 billion in remittances in the third quarter this year from citizens living abroad, an increase of 2.4 percent over the same period in 2012, the central bank said Friday.

The funds that poured in between July and September put an end to four consecutive quarters of decline, Banco de Mexico said in a report.   Continue reading “As American CITIZENS Suffer Record Unemployment ILLEGALS Sent $1.79 BILLION Home to Mexico in September — 8.1% More Than Same Month Last Year”

What has our country become?

People are battling to be the next ones on Jerry Springer or Dr. Phil type talk shows or are competing to be on “The Biggest Loser” (which has a double meaning). Our children are idolizing people like Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, the Kardashians, Tim Tebow or people who don’t even know themselves, let alone give a damn whether you are alive or not as long as you pay lip-service to them. Teenagers and young adults are humiliating themselves on reality shows like “Fear Factor”, “The Apprentice” or “Beauty and the Geek”.

All of these idiotic shows brought on by Hollywood and the MSM via the idiotbox, encourage Americans to come up and make fools out of themselves by demoralizing and degrading their self-worth, individuality and humanity in front of the whole country, if not the world.   Continue reading “What Happened to God’s Country?”

Keystone pipeline biketrail #4 Bloomberg -by Jim Snyder

The debate over the Keystone XL pipeline has gotten pretty heated and Kinder Baumgardner has an idea to cool the emotions: a really long bike path.

The creative director for the SWA Group, an Houston-based architectural firm that designed Google Inc.’s corporate campus, says building the lane along Keystone’s path through the country’s mid-section could turn what is now a source of rancor into a tourist attraction.  Continue reading “Sunflowers to Schwinns Proposed for Keystone Pathway”

Flanagan South PipelineThe Nation -by Rick Perlstein

This past weekend I was thrilled to attend the second annual Great Lakes Bioneers conference in Chicago, which has been a wonderful introduction for me this year and last to the remarkably dedicated work citizens are doing around the concept of “resilience”—a word frequently used in psychology to refers to people’s ability to bounce back in the face of life challenges and which environmentalists have adopted into an umbrella term for practices centered around how communities can create a sustainable future within an unsustainable present—to build a new world in a shell of the old. In 2012, I learned about one of the movement’s coolest big ideas, “biomimicry”—the concept of better design through imitating nature. This year I learned about “food forests,” which is amazing stuff too—“a gardening technique or land management system that mimics a woodland ecosystem but substitutes in edible trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals.”  Continue reading “The Next Frontier for Pipeline Organizing Is Your Backyard”

Blacklisted News – by Lee Rogers

The New York Post has just released an insanely ridiculous photo claiming to show the Los Angeles airport (LAX) shooter lying on the ground in a pool of his own blood. Anyone who has even just a little bit of common sense should be able to discern that this is completely faked.  This is just more evidence indicating that this entire event is yet another hoax to justify more gun control and more government power.  The photo is shown below.   Continue reading “Photo Of Dummy Presented As Wounded LAX Shooter By Media”

Activist Post – by Paul Adams, J.D.

The world economy is based on the sand foundation of usury, which was considered a sin and tool of covert warfare for thousands of years.

The rich rules over the poor,

And the borrower is servant to the lender. Proverbs 22:7

Let me issue and control a nation’s money and I care not who writes its laws — Attributed to Mayer Amschel Rothschild   Continue reading “Usury: Weapon of Control and Enslavement – Part 1 of 2”

The primary tool of socialism is force, and while that force usually begins with good intentions codified into law, it inevitably ends up with the kind of force used by Mao Zedong to murder millions of his own citizens. “Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun,” he famously stated, and Obama-supporting democrats are following in his footsteps.

Word from the street is that Kathleen Murphy, a democrat running for the House, wants to make it a legal requirement that doctors accept Medicare and Obamacare patients.   Continue reading “U.S. government may force doctors to accept Obamacare and Medicare patients, eventually at gunpoint”

spirulinaNatural News – by L.J. Devon

Researchers have discovered breakthrough advances in antitumor immunotherapy in the wake of an eye-opening study showing how spirulina extract activates natural killer cells to destroy tumors.

What are natural killer cells?

Natural killer cells are the body’s rapid responders when cells are under attack from virus or tumor formation. These unique cells can recognize viruses and tumors in the absence of antibodies and signal molecules, making them a potent innate immune system defender. NT cells are also great communicators, regulating interactions with macrophages and dendritic, endothelial and T cells. They possess the unique ability to limit or increase immune responses. Learning how to make these cells work is critical for helping people control inflammation, autoimmune disorders and tumors.   Continue reading “Oral consumption of spirulina extract enhances antitumor natural killer cells”

image002A new priest, born and raised in Texas , comes to serve in a city parish and is nervous about hearing confessions, so he asks the older priest to sit in on his sessions.

The new priest hears a couple of confessions, then the old priest asks him to step out of the confessional for a few suggestions.

The old priest suggests, “Cross your arms over your chest, and rub your chin with one hand and try saying things like ‘yes, I see,’ and ‘yes, go on,’ and ‘I understand.’   Continue reading “A New Texas Priest”
