PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The parents of a Marine sergeant who died while stationed in Greece say that they discovered weeks after his funeral that his body had been sent home without a heart — and that the Department of Defense later gave them somebody else’s heart in its place.

Craig and Beverly LaLoup, who are suing the department, said Tuesday that authorities told them 21-year-old Brian LaLoup had shot himself in the head during a party at the U.S. Embassy compound in Athens, where he worked a security detail.   Continue reading “Suit: Marine’s body sent home to Pa. without heart”

San Diego, CA –-(Ammoland.com)-  The only thing cigarettes and guns have in common is that they both produce smoke. But if a pack of duplicitous San Francisco lawyers gets their way, your guns will soon be classified as a public health hazard and regulated like seat belts and Marlboros.

On November 14th, 2013 the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence (LCPGV) held a public meeting that was streamed live to fellow anti-gun activists around the nation. The panel was composed of their own leadership, “journalists” from Mother Jones, and a set of activists who were previously neck-deep in campaigns against drunken driving and leading the anti-tobacco movement. Together they made unambiguous statements that signaled the next strategy in the assault on gun ownership, the canard that “smart laws lead to a healthier society.”   Continue reading “Anti-Gun Lawyers Blowing Smoke While Planning to Restrict Your Human Rights”

Someone has finally decided to put out Barack Obama’s forged documents in some mainstream papers. On Monday, CDR Charles Kerchner (Retired) took out a full page ad in the Washington Time to make people aware of the fraudulent documents of Barack Hussein Obama, specifically his back dated and forged selective service form.

Kerchner’s ad appeared on page 5 of the Washington Times National Weekly and included a large copy of Barack Obama’s Selective Service form, along with various URLs to other pertinent information on the various forgeries of Obama’s documents.   Continue reading “Obama’s Back Dated & Forged Selective Service Form Hits Washington Times in Full Page Ad”

The ruling facing Fox News reporter Jana Winter was dismissed on Tuesday, sparing her from having to reveal confidential sources she consulted for a story on the Aurora movie theater shooting.

New York State’s Court of Appeals voted to knock down an earlier decision which would require Winter to appear in front of Arapahoe County District Court in Colorado to disclose the source who gave her information about a notebook that the gunman, James Holmes, gave to his psychiatrist just prior to the shooting, Fox News reported on Tuesday. Winter reportedly said that she would go to jail before revealing such information to a judge.   Continue reading “Jana Winter Will Not Have To Reveal Her Sources: NY Court”

In this photo taken Tuesday Oct. 22, 2013, law enforcement investigators look over the body of a 13-year-old boy shot and killed by officers in Santa Rosa, Calif. Two California sheriff's deputies saw the boy walking with what appeared to be a high-powered weapon Tuesday, sheriff's Lt. Dennis O'Leary said. The replica gun resembled an AK-47, according to a photograph released by the sheriff's office. Deputies learned after the shooting that it wasn't an actual firearm, according to O'Leary. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene. The deputies, who have not been identified, have been placed on administrative leave, which is standard after a shooting, O'Leary said. South Carolina voting on bill to end Obamacare in stateDaily Caller – by Bruce Parker

A bill set for fast-track passage in the South Carolina Senate in January aims to eliminate Obamacare in the state. The law could become a model for other states fed up with the federal health-care law.

House Bill 3101, titled the “South Carolina Freedom of Health Care Protection Act,” passed the state House of Representatives last April by a 65-34 vote. The bill now heads to the GOP-controlled Senate with special-order priority, setting up the likelihood that South Carolina will become the first state to exempt citizens and businesses from all participation in the Affordable Care Act.   Continue reading “South Carolina voting on bill to end Obamacare in state”

Democracy, Democracy, Democracy! Does that mean anything to Obama? He bind’s himself by no law! He laughs at the constitutional and its constraints. He seeks tyrannical dictatorship and forces it down the throats of the American people. He creates ‘hit lists’ and targets anyone who is against his rule. He constructs executive orders and sees no issue with side-stepping Congress. He does all he desires! Dictator! Dictator! Dictator!   Continue reading “House Admits Obama’s a DICTATOR as America moves from Dependence Into Bondage”

The number of Americans incarcerated in federal prisons throughout the country has increased by nearly 30 percent over the past ten years, according to a new report by an investigative arm of Congress.

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) report released Monday attributed the 27 percent surge in prison population to mandatory sentencing minimums. The practice, in which a judge’s discretion is almost completely removed from the sentencing process, mandates that nonviolent drug offenders are given pre-determined sentences. Critics have asserted that those prison terms are needlessly harsh and can put someone who presents no physical threat to society behind bars for decades.   Continue reading “US prison population jumps 27% in a decade over harsh drug sentencing”

Young Cons

It’s hard to argue with this…

Since President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law, he has changed it five times. Most notably, he suspended the employer mandate last summer. This is widely known, but almost no one seems to have grasped its significance.

The Constitution authorizes the President to propose and veto legislation. It does not authorize him to change existing laws. The changes Mr. Obama ordered in Obamacare, therefore, are unconstitutional. This means that he does not accept some of the limitations that the Constitution places on his actions. We cannot know at this point what limitations, if any, he does accept.   Continue reading “Forbes flat-out calls for Obama’s impeachment, and their argument is very compelling”

Prescription drugs cause over 100,000 deaths per year and cause another 1.5 million people to experience side effects so severe they must be hospitalized. Shockingly, adverse drug reactions are now the fourth leading cause of death in the US. (1)

This is in part due to the problem of “polypharmacy” — the taking of several drugs at once that interact in negative and sometimes unexpected ways.   Continue reading “Are Your Prescriptions Killing You?”
