More than 100 people were arrested and several deputies were injured during a spring break street party near Santa Barbara, Calif., that quickly dissolved into violence overnight.

While the Senate Intelligence Committee voted to declassify its $40 million, 6,300 page report detailing the CIA’s torture regime — including the facts that it went beyond what was authorized, produced no useful intelligence and then the CIA lied about it all — three members of the Committee voted against it. LYNCHBURG, Va. – Liberty University, which is considered the world’s largest Christian university, has hired an open homosexual advocate to choreograph its upcoming Broadway-style presentation of Mary Poppins.

Jubilee Child Development Center in San Antonio, Texas has expelled a three-year-old girl for using profanity. This faith-based daycare has a zero tolerance for profanity. Arianna is not the first child the school has released because of it; another child was banned a few months ago.

Cassandra Wright, Arianna’s mother, feels the center should have let the child know that this is not a word she should say as opposed to putting her out of the school. Spoiler alert: I’m in no way guarding my words in discussing this film, but I mean to get you to watch it and encourage others to do so– especially kids– even if you know every word of the script

Last night my son, T.J., took me to see ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’. I came home absolutely excited and delighted. This new film– certain to be a blockbuster anyway just for its towering success with all the normal metrics of action, drama, effects and pace– goes high on my list of important political films of the last decade.

This is a “Marvel Hero” vehicle, of course.
