When it comes to voter I.D. however, it’s an unnecessary regulation because there is no voter fraud, never mind that most of us boarding airplanes are not terrorists. Our voting rights are far more sacred than our entry onto airplanes, as the only job the government has is to keep us safe, and without free and fair elections, government can take away our voting rights. Against Crony Capitalism

Pot is by far the most used illicit drug in the United States. This in spite of it being bulky and odoriferous and relatively hard to transport. People like pot and in many ways it is as American as beer.

That’s why many states have moved to legalize and decriminalize the plant in recent years. Today I had to run into town to buy some boxes. I really like the U-Haul boxes for storage, because they are all exactly the same size, they’re very sturdy, and they have those nice little handle openings to make stacking things easier.

In Ukraine, a grisly new strategy – bringing in neo-Nazi paramilitary forces to set fire to occupied buildings in the country’s rebellious southeast – appears to be emerging as a favored tactic as the coup-installed regime in Kiev seeks to put down resistance from ethnic Russians and other opponents.

The technique first emerged on May 2 in the port city of Odessa when pro-regime militants chased dissidents into the Trade Unions Building and then set it on fire. Organizers of a street festival in Minneapolis are suing the city for granting Major League Baseball the power to suppress signs and events in every section of downtown for two weeks – all for just one baseball game.

Dear Nisha,

I have been following the The Rutherford Institute’s activities in defending people at odds with the government for some time now, and I am grateful that the Institutie comes to people’s assistance, like in Marine Brandon Raub’s case.

For many gun rights advocates, May Day was a close call for one aspect of gun control. That’s the day that “smart guns” nearly went on the market – which would have triggered a 2002 law in New Jersey requiring that ALL statewide gun sales be ‘smart guns’ within three years of the first date of sale anywhere in the United States.

That would be a critical blow to the right to bear arms in New Jersey, furthering the often absurd efforts of gun control advocates in the wake of Sandy Hook and other exploited tragedies.
