ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — A veteran who collapsed in an Albuquerque Veteran Affairs hospital cafeteria — 500 yards from the emergency room — died after waiting around 20 minutes for an ambulance, officials confirmed Thursday.

It took between 15 and 20 minutes for the ambulance to be dispatched and take the man from one building to the other, which is about a five-minute walk, officials at the hospital said. MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) — Justin Ross Harris was a devoted and loving father who talked about his toddler son often, his friends and family say. But prosecutors have portrayed him as a man unhappy in his marriage who exchanged nude photos with several women as his son died in a hot SUV.

Harris, 33, faces murder and child cruelty charges in the June 18 death of his 22-month-old son Cooper, who police say was left in a vehicle for about seven hours on a day when temperatures in the Atlanta area reached at least into the high 80s. The Department of Defense has threatened me with imprisonment in response to our report on the illegal alien shelter at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Mexico City (AFP) – The theft of a vehicle in Mexico containing a potentially deadly radioactive material briefly raised alarm Friday — but the container was found with no leak or harm to the population.

HOUSTON, Texas—House Homeland Security Chairman, Congressman Mike McCaul (R-TX) said American military bases are being turned in to refugee camps. Unaccompanied minors who have been crossing the border in record numbers for months are being warehoused at military bases across the country.

“I never thought I’d see this in the United States of America,” McCaul said during a Homeland Security Committee field hearing he conducted in McAllen, Texas on Thursday. The children are being housed in military facilities like Lackland AFB, near San Antonio and others nationwide. McCaul claimed the Obama Administration is not prepared to deal with this influx of children, according to a report by FoxNews. Most of the citizens of the United States are now like the victims of an abusive relationship. An unidentified horticulturalist has maintained the lush urban garden for two years, growing vegetables and herbs adjacent to the East Sixth Street footbridge, city parks employees say.
