The Philadelphia Veterans Affairs office announced Wednesday that it would hold a Halloween parade on Friday for children of VA employees, but warned employees not to hand out any candy or sweets to the kids.

Instead, the VA said the day care center in the office has “joined First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move Program,” which means the kids should be given things other than candy.   Continue reading “Michelle Obama Inspires Federal Office to Ban Halloween Candy…From Kids’ Halloween Parade”

While many consider singling people out for Ebola quarantine a rights violation, singling them out for punishment for alluding to Islamic terrorism is a different story — at least in Great Britain. And 75-year-old retired hairdresser Paul Griffith learned this the hard way at that nation’s Stansted airport while traveling to Malaga, Spain, for a weeklong vacation earlier this year.

Griffith’s problems began after he set off an airport scanner and upon being asked to remove his shoes quipped, “I’m not Muslim, am I?” The Mirror reports on what happened next:   Continue reading “Man Arrested After Joking With Security, “I’m Not Muslim, Am I?””

It happened again.

People are walking out while President Ebola is still speaking.

On Oct. 19, 2014, at a Democratic campaign rally in Upper Marlboro in eastern Maryland for Anthony G. Brown, the state’s Obama-lookalike lieutenant governor who’s running for governor, in the midst of Obama’s 25-minute speech, members of his mainly black audience left in droves. Deutsche Skatbank, a division of VR-Bank Altenburger Land, which was founded in 1859, is not the biggest bank in Germany, but it’s the first bank to confirm what German savers have been dreading for a while: the wrath of Draghi.

Retail and business customers with over €500,000 on deposit as of November 1 will earn a “negative interest rate” of 0.25%. In less euphemistic terms, they have to pay 0.25% per annum to the bank for the privilege of handing the bank their hard-earned money or their business cash.   Continue reading “The Wrath of Draghi: First German Bank Hits Savers with Negative Interest Rate”

The Temple Institute is an Israeli organization focused on building the Third Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, on or next to the Dome of the Rock Mosque.

One of it’s most prominent supporters, Yehuda Glick, was shot three times yesterday.  He had just finished a lecture called “Israel Returns to the Temple Mount” before being shot in the head, neck, and chest at close range.  I could understand the violence a little more if Glick was one of the more offensive activists calling for Jews to blow up the Dome of the Rock Mosque.  But he is a reasonable man who just wants Jews to have the same rights to worship on the Temple Mount in Israel’s capital that the Muslims already enjoy there.   Continue reading “Jerusalem’s Next Temple: Leading Supporter Shot”

The Chicago crime rate has finally shown some signs of decreasing – and a debate has broken out over the reasons behind the drop.

City officials credit better police work with the drop in violent crime and theft in the city, but one major crime-deterring factor appears to have been summarily dismissed by Chicago leaders – a new concealed carry law.

Since Chicago began issuing concealed carry permits last year, robbery arrests have declined 20 percent, burglary arrests are down by the same percentage, and vehicle thefts have decreased by a total of 26 percent, The Washington Times reported. During the first quarter of 2014, homicides in the Windy City reached a 56-year low.   Continue reading “Gun Grabbers Are In Denial Over The Latest Concealed Carry-Crime Data”

“In any major covert op, there are always multiple objectives and levels of opportunity, and they are not wasted. The interesting thing is, 99.99% of the players who benefit don’t even realize the whole thing is a planned op.” (The Magician Awakes, Jon Rappoport)

This is not a complete list of benefits from the Ebola op. However, it does cover a significant amount of territory.   Continue reading “The Ebola covert op: 30 answers to “who benefits?””

The US Department of Homeland Security already has an arsenal of drones to be deployed for whatever the agency deems fit, but the actual capabilities of those vehicles exceed what many Americans may expect.

The unmanned drones being used inside of the United States right now can’t shoot Hellfire missiles like their overseas counterparts. They can, however, conduct surveillance, intercept communications and even determine whether or not a person thousands of feet below the aircraft is armed.   Continue reading “DHS drones equipped to eavesdrop on Americans”
