Erasmo MataFree Thought Project – by Cassandra Rules

Pharr, TX — Trial is set to begin December 1, in the case of former Pharr police officer Erasmo Mata, Jr., accused of repeated first-degree felony sexual assaults of a child.

A federal civil lawsuit filed with Texas Southern District Court back in May accused Mata of assaulting the minor five times, on five separate occasions, all while on duty.  The suit alleges that the attacks took place in abandoned houses around the city as other Pharr police officers stood by and watched.   Continue reading “Former Cop Headed to Trial for Raping a Child While Other Officers Watched”

On Sidearms.

The reality is, as has been determined over and over ad nauseum by the militaries of the world, the pistol is largely irrelevant in military/paramilitary combat. That having been said, as the man pointed out, that doesn’t mean it isn’t important to the individual soldier who suddenly needs a sidearm and happens to have one on his hip. I carried a pistol in the field from the first moment I was afforded the opportunity, and never regretted the extra weight.    Continue reading “Logistics of the Irregular Force Warfighter: Sidearms”

Radio talk show host and author Dr. Michael Savage has issued an ominous warning to Americans in a just-released new book: There is little time left before the nation plunges into its second Civil War. In fact, at this point, less than two weeks: If the upcoming midterm elections don’t go the right way, he says, the country is liable to fracture again.

That’s a prediction that he’s made in his tome Stop the Coming Civil War, which was published over the summer by Center Street Books. And he says one man — President Barack Obama — is principally responsible.   Continue reading “Dr. Michael Savage warns Americans have just weeks left to stop nation from collapsing into civil war”

Britain Lloyds BankABC News – by GREGORY KATZ, AP

Britain’s Lloyds Banking Group said Tuesday it will eliminate 9,000 jobs over the next three years and shut some 200 branches in a bid to improve efficiency.

The group has been partly owned by the British taxpayer since it was rescued during the financial crisis and has been under pressure to cut costs.

Its executives had pledged three years ago to keep its number of branches at a consistent level despite the cuts, but Chief Executive Antonio Horta-Osorio said Tuesday that strategy has now changed.   Continue reading “Britain’s Lloyds Bank to Cut 9,000 Jobs”

Mexican authorities searching for 43 missing college students have found human remains in a new area of southern Guerrero state and are testing to see if they belong to the young men who last were seen in police custody a month ago, a government official said Monday.

Authorities came upon the new location based on statements from four people arrested early Monday, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the press. The new remains were found in Cocula, a town about 10 miles from where the students last were seen.   Continue reading “In search for missing students, Mexican authorities discover more bodies in Guerrero”

One sage of economics is mostly ignored because he dares to reject the Keynesian economics doctrine that is so essential to maintain the debt slavery milieu. The last hundred years fostered the dominion of the banksters. The economic future is bleak for humanity as long as the fraudulent monetary system of fiat money is allowed to continue. But before this conclusion can become a commonly accepted cultural axiom, the historic context needs to be understood by present generations.

Detlev Schlichter’s review of “The Great Deformation – The Corruption of Capitalism in America” by David A. Stockman, makes a strong case why his economic acumen is sorely under appreciated.   Continue reading “David A. Stockman – The Great Deformation”

WASHINGTON — The St. Louis County Police Department has stocked up on tear gas, less-lethal ammunition and plastic handcuffs in anticipation of massive protests in the suburb of Ferguson, Missouri, if a grand jury doesn’t indict the police officer who killed 18-year-old Michael Brown. The jury is expected to reach its decision sometime in November.

Many protesters in Ferguson do not believe that Officer Darren Wilson will be indicted and contend that recent grand jury leaks are meant to prepare the public for that decision.

“It’s going to be a war because they’re not going to indict him,” one protester told The Huffington Post in October.    Continue reading “Police In Ferguson Stock Up On Riot Gear Ahead Of Grand Jury Decision”

Survival Uses for Baking Soda

Sodium bicarbonate has a slightly salty, alkaline taste and in its natural mineral form, it is called nahcolite. It is a component of the mineral natron and is found dissolved in many mineral springs. It is often called baking soda, bread soda, cooking soda and bicarbonate of soda.

Sodium bicarbonate helps to regulate pH in other words; substances would be neither too acidic nor too alkaline.    Continue reading “15 Uses for Baking Soda Every Prepper Should Know”

NEW YORK (AP) — A sleep-deprived engineer nodded off at the controls of a commuter train just before taking a 30 mph curve at 82 mph, causing a derailment last year that killed four people and injured more than 70, federal regulators said Tuesday.

William Rockefeller’s sleepiness was due to a combination of an undiagnosed disorder — sleep apnea — and a drastic shift in his work schedule, the National Transportation Safety Board said. It said the railroad lacked a policy to screen engineers for sleep disorders, which also contributed to the Dec. 1 crash. And it said a system that would have applied the brakes automatically would have prevented the crash.   Continue reading “Feds: Engineer’s sleepiness caused derailment”

The Department of Homeland Security announced Tuesday it has increased security at federal buildings across the county, citing terror threats and recent attacks in Canada and elsewhere.

The announcement was made by Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, who said Federal Protective Service officers are providing the increased security.

Officials said the move was a “precautionary” step and not made in response to any specific threat. But they cited last week’s violence in Canada, and Islamic State threats.  Additional security will be put in place in Washington, other major U.S. cities and unnamed locations across the country.   Continue reading “DHS increases security at federal buildings over terror concerns”

Police Shooting Missouri SchoolsABC News – by Jim Salter

School officials concerned about students being waylaid by protests are asking the St. Louis County prosecutor to wait until classes are not in session to announce whether a white police officer will face charges for the fatal shooting of an unarmed black 18-year-old.

A grand jury is expected to decide by mid-November whether to indict Officer Darren Wilson for the Aug. 9 death of Michael Brown. The shooting led to weeks of sometimes violent protests in and around the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson and spurred a national conversation about race and policing. Law enforcement officials are already bracing for potential fallout from the decision.   Continue reading “Schools Fret Over Ferguson Grand Jury Announcement”
