2014 has been one long year of economic yo-yoing. Many are breathing a sigh of relief knowing that another year has come to pass, and a better one will be replacing it.

In fact, half of the U.S. population feel confident that 2015 will be better than it’s predecessor. The Gallup’s economic confidence index has hit the highest level since the last recession.

That said, Michael Snyder, writer for the Economic Collapse Blog says, “not so fast.” He warns that everyone should stop looking to the machine-driven media for false hopes in 2015. Snyder believes that we are in store for a much more dismal year than the media is letting on.   Continue reading “Storm on the Horizon: Massive Layoffs Planned for Corporate Conglomerates in 2015”

The majority of cancers are the result of bad luck rather than unhealthy lifestyles or inherited genetic faults, scientists have discovered.

For years health experts have warned that tumours are driven by a bad diet, lack of exercise, or gene errors passed down from parents.

The government even set up its ‘100,000 Genomes Project’ to try and find the genetic causes of many rare diseases and cancers.

In a ruling handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court, the nation’s top court found that a police officer who mistakenly interprets a law and pulls someone over hasn’t violated their Fourth Amendment rights.

The case pertained to a traffic stop initiated on Nicholas Heien in North Carolina, on account of a broken tail light. The stop and search of the vehicle, conducted by the officer after the initial citation, yielded a good amount of cocaine. Heien was charged with drug trafficking.   Continue reading “Supreme Court: Cops can pull you over even if you haven’t broken a law”

When the cops showed up to a subdivision Wednesday night in Oldsmar, Florida, it wasn’t to break up a loud party or for any sort of bacchanalian revelry typical of New Year’s Eve.

No, Mario Gomez called 911 to report something far more sinister and ghastly: His brother had just cut off their mother’s head with an ax.   Continue reading “Son decapitated mother over ‘nagging,’ Florida sheriff says”

You may not remember this, because it all started way back in 2001, but an important test case just resolved itself up in Rhode Island.

Back in 2001 two Christian Firefighters were forced to participate in a Gay Parade that took place in Providence, Rhode Island. The two firemen asked for reassignment based on their religious beliefs and were promptly denied by their superiors. After some time and receiving legal advice, they decided to sue both the mayor and the fire chief of Providence.   Continue reading “In America – It’s Now Okay to Force Christians to Participate in Gay Parades”

Around 1:30 in the morning near the intersection of South Post Oak and West Bellfort, union leaders say, gunfire erupted from a car driving down South Post Oak near West Bellfort where an officer was working a routine traffic stop. There was a simpler time in America, a time when racists wore white hoods and carried torches, when Nazis wore swastikas and a skinhead could shave his scalp without being mistaken for a metrosexual. But those days are long behind us. putin chess goldGold-Eagle – by Dmitry Kalinichenko, November 23, 2014

Very few people understand what Putin is doing at the moment. And almost no one understands what he will do in the future.

No matter how strange it may seem, but right now, Putin is selling Russian oil and gas only for physical gold.

Putin is not shouting about it all over the world. And of course, he still accepts US dollars as an intermediate means of payment. But he immediately exchanges all these dollars obtained from the sale of oil and gas for physical gold!

To understand this, it is enough to look at the dynamics of growth of gold reserves of Russia and to compare this data with foreign exchange earnings of the RF coming from the sale of oil and gas over the same period. Continue reading “Grandmaster Putin’s Golden Trap”

When Americans see charts like this one which illustrate that virtually all the food on grocery store shelves basically comes from no more than 10 megacompanies, or hear statements like this one from our own Attorney General Eric Holder who told the Senate Judiciary Committee that some banks are just too big to prosecute, or check out studies like this one out of Princeton which openly declare we are not a democracy but an oligarchy…it’s kinda hard to believe we aren’t an oligarchy (because we are).   Continue reading “History Lesson: America Is the Same ‘Ol Oligarchy It Was over a Century Ago”

A year ago this New Year’s Eve, John Filippidis of Florida was driving south with his family on Interstate 95 when the Maryland Transportation Authority Police pulled over his black Ford Expedition and proceeded to raid it while his twins, wife and daughter looked on — separated in the back seats of different police cruisers.

The officers were searching for Mr. Filippidis‘ Florida-licensed, palm-size Kel-Tec .38 semi-automatic handgun, which he left at home locked in his safe. (Maryland does not recognize handgun permits issued by other states.)   Continue reading “Gun owners fear Maryland cops target them for traffic stops”
