Former Attorney General Eric Holder said today that a “possibility exists” for the Justice Department to cut a deal with former NSA contractor Edward Snowden that would allow him to return to the United States from Moscow.

A 24-hour period last Wednesday and Thursday saw two cases of male illegal immigrants allegedly murdering women in two separate U.S. states: California and Texas. In both instances, the women’s murder could have been prevented by authorities had they enforced existing U.S. immigration laws and/or had the U.S.-Mexico border been functionally secured. The California murder involved an illegal immigrant who had been previously deported five times with seven felonies and the Texas murder involved an illegal immigrant who had been deported on four previous occasions. The reasoning, of course, is that the government can manage your personal finances better than you can. WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Authorities have found no sign of a gunshot on Monday at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in suburban Washington after a report of a shot triggered a lockdown of the sprawling hospital campus, police said.

When it comes to people the government fears the most, those who live in rural areas must be somewhere near the top of the list. Not that there’s anything wrong with this particular group of people. It’s just that they’re a demographic that the government often struggles to contend with.

They usually have the resources to take care of themselves, and often by necessity, which makes it difficult to corral this population. When you have no choice but to take care of yourself because government services are too far away, they don’t have any good excuses for telling you what to do. At least five children received improper immunization shots from a clinic in New Jersey, revealed a state compliance audit of the Shots for Tots program released on Saturday. The statement comes from Salem County, which runs the clinic, according to NJ.com.

The five children who received the incurred medications were: two children who were injected with expired vaccines; one child who received the flu mist dose but was under the recommended age; one boy who received the Gardasil injection; and one child who received a vaccine that officials have not yet determined. Paris (AFP) – Astronomers proposed a novel explanation Monday for the strange appearance of the comet carrying Europe’s robot probe Philae through outer space: alien microscopic life.
