Virginia is targeting 1,691 license plates bearing the Confederate battle flag in a statewide recall that will replace the existing tags with new ones without the controversial image.

The Virginian-Pilot reported that it’s unclear how quickly the flag tags will disappear from state highways now that the plates are being recalled and replaced following a federal judge’s ruling Thursday lifting a 2001 injunction that allowed the image.

“We’re working as quickly as possible to get this done,” Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles spokeswoman Brandy Brubaker told the paper.  Continue reading “Rebel recall: Virginians told to turn in Confederate-themed license plates”

In the mind of a schizophrenic person, internal elements of fantasy (negative and positive) are made manifest in the psyche and projected out onto the real world. Often, the daydream images of the mind are not merely images to them. Rather, what they imagine subconsciously becomes reality. Their faculties of observation become so limited, either due to a reaction to trauma or merely an inherent inability to cope, that they cannot decipher between fact and fiction. A person could go on like this for quite some time if all his needs are provided for by someone else. But the moment that support ends (and it will), the realities of necessity, not to mention supply and demand, take hold. One cannot live in a schizophrenic world indefinitely.   Continue reading “Economic Reality Now Catching Up To Market Fantasy”

It isn’t a fancy concoction, nor does it sell in the form of a capsule, promoted by a billion dollar pharmaceutical industry. It isn’t a rare herb or even some kind of strange fruit that you’ve never heard of, let alone seen. It is a common food you likely use when you cook, and that can grow easily in your back yard, or in a pot placed on a sunny patio.

Not only does this food lower cholesterol and reduce depression, it has shown remarkable effects in reducing cancerous tumors. The University of Maryland Medical Center calls a certain flavanol in this food “an important antioxidant to scavenge free radicals, and reduce inflammation in the body.” As you may already know, inflammation is directly linked with a ‘cancer-supporting’ environment in the body.   Continue reading “One of the Cheapest Cancer Fighters on the Planet”

The Obama administration decision to release over $100 billion in sanctions relief as part of the Iran nuclear deal is being challenged by a group of American victims of Iranian terror, who have more than a billion dollars in court judgments against the Islamic regime.

The US has promised to unfreeze funds largely held in overseas bank accounts back to the Central Bank of Iran (CBI). However, the families are enjoining against the sanctions relief, arguing that unfreezing the funds will prevent them from ever being able to collect on the judgments in their cases against Iran.   Continue reading “Terror Victims Sue to Block Iran Sanction Lifting”
