Israel said it is pleased with a compromise bill being floated on the Hill, which would give US legislators oversight in the Iran nuclear deal. The White House agreed to the bill adopted by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Robert James Ritchie, known by the stage name Kid Rock, is listed on an application for the village police reserve force that Hemlock Attorney Philip Ellison received in the mail from Oakley earlier this month.

Israeli settlers and extremists have once again stormed the compound of the al-Aqsa Mosque in East al-Quds (Jerusalem).

According to the Palestinian Foundation for Islamic Waqf, over a dozen settlers, accompanied by a group of Israeli intelligence agents, raided the site on Monday.

Opponents of legalizing marijuana can’t be happy about several new polls released Tuesday. Majority support for making cannabis legal is holding steady, while young adults are legalization’s biggest fans. And that’s true both nationally and in several swing states.

SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Legislative efforts to tighten gun control in Oregon cleared an important hurdle Tuesday after senators approved a measure designed to expand background checks for most private gun sales.

Under the bill, gun buyers and sellers who aren’t closely related would have to appear in person before a licensed gun dealer who can run a background check, for a fee, through the Oregon State Police.
