California Governor Jerry Brown (D) has accused Americans opposed to President Barack Obama’s executive amnesty for illegal immigrants of being “un-Christian.”
Brown, who has declared that all illegal immigrants from Mexico are “welcome” in California, made his remarks after a White House meeting on Friday while discussing the lawsuit that a majority of the states filed against Obama’s executive amnesty. The Texas Senate is expected to a bring pro-gun open carry bill to the floor for a vote as early as Monday. The move comes after the 60-day bill filing period ended on Friday. The Texas Legislature may now vote on and pass any bills. Before the first sixty days has passed, the Legislature may only approve bills on issues designated as “emergency items” by the Governor.
One bill being considered for early passage is an open carry bill written by State Senator Craig Estes (R-Wichita Falls). The bill (SB 17) which passed a committee vote earlier in the session would allow of open carry of firearms by people who have concealed handgun licenses (CHL). “I am very confident the Senate will pass the bill and we look forward to making it at the discretion of the licensee whether he is to carry concealed (or) open,” said Sen. SAN JUAN, Texas — The increase in cartel spillover violence in South America has forced Paraguay’s police special forces to seek the help of agencies with ample experience in dealing with cartels and organized crime groups who cross borders to kidnap and commit other crimes. This led the elite South American police unit to seek help from Texas border-area SWAT.
Paratroopers, pilots, snipers, and tactical operators from the Special Forces Unit of Paraguay’s National Police traveled to this border city to train with the area’s Law Enforcement Emergency Regional Response Team (LEERT), an elite regional SWAT team. WASHINGTON — The Obama administration said Tuesday that 11.7 million Americans now have private health insurance through federal and state marketplaces, with 86 percent of them receiving financial assistance from the federal government to help pay premiums.
About three-fourths of people with marketplace coverage — 8.8 million consumers — live in the 37 states served by HealthCare.gov, the website for the federal insurance exchange. We have not seen the sun in over a week here in Dallas. Finally this morning we have what would have been a clear blue sky and the chance for a beautiful sunny day, but nope. These bastards just won’t let us have ONE single sunny day. It’s like it’s a disease to them.

LOS ANGELES, March 16 (UPI) — A Los Angeles based police officer was arrested and could face human smuggling charges after officials at the U.S.-Mexico border discovered someone hiding in the officer’s car.
Border Patrol agents stopped the officer for questioning on Saturday night and later saw the person hiding. CLAYTON, Mo. (AP) — A 20-year-old man charged Sunday with shooting two police officers watching over a demonstration outside the Ferguson Police Department had attended a protest there earlier that night but told investigators he wasn’t targeting the officers, authorities said.

During a Senate hearing examining federal law enforcement organizations’ annual budget requests, Sen. Dianne Feinstein veered off course, and took a shot at the FBI for ignoring last year’s notorious torture report.

A raft of federal prosecutions has uncovered tax-fraud schemes involving the theft of Social Security numbers of U.S. prisoners, in many cases by corrections employees.
Last year alone, federal courts meted out prison sentences to an Alabama bail bondsman, two former Alabama corrections employees, a Florida corrections officer and a Georgia man, who were convicted separately of stealing the identities of more than 1,200 prisoners and claiming more than $6.5 million in tax refunds under the inmates’ names. Being that I have been off-grid for the last five years and built
several small to large solar systems, I thought I would pass on what I have learned.
First, Goal Zero does make some quality stuff….never had any noteworthy problems with them. That being said – if you are going to go with their Yeti 1250, do yourself a favor and skip the Goal Zero Boulder panels and order a full sized 240-250 watt (mono or poly) solar panel. A new study shows that there are too damn many new studies. And it’s not just a funny headline: There are real-world implications.
The study, which surely must be aware of its own irony, found that researchers are experiencing “attention decay” because of the glut of academic papers. Just like we’re overwhelmed by the bounty of the internet, researchers are forgetting important studies because they’re swimming in nonessential ones. Edward Klein has a bombshell report at The New York Post about Hillary Clinton’s email scandal. According to Klein, it was President Obama’s closest adviser Valerie Jarrett who leaked the details of her email scandal to The New York Times, but did so through sources outside of the White House so it couldn’t be traced back to her. A Virginia police officer and his wife said they are disturbed and angry about the “anti-police propaganda” featured in a Black History Month program put on by one high school.
The Orange County High School event was titled “Black Lives Matter” and featured readings including, “Voices: The Exhausting Task of Being Black in America” and ”They Don’t Really Care About Us.”

The items for trade during my SHTF very often changed value, and some of them became unavailable for some period of time, just to suddenly show up again much more expensive.
Yes, situation in the city dictated that, but also people, the black market lords made this happen. The whole situation was always changing where and if you can find what you were looking for.
