The family of a 19-year-old man who was fatally shot by a South Carolina police officer last year has settled its wrongful death lawsuit against the city of Seneca for $2.15 million.

The settlement, nearly 10 times higher than a figure offered last week by city leaders, comes as a federal investigation continues into the officer’s actions. To tell or not to tell. That is the dilemma and heated debate which is occurring in California over Bisphenol A (BPA) in some of the canned food products sold at grocery stores. The regulators are concerned that wording on the label is too scary.  They claim to be worried that poor customers won’t buy canned food anymore.

Gilbert, AZ — The family of Kyle Cardenas has filed a notice of claim with the Gilbert Police Department after they say, police beat him and tasered him until his heart stopped.

According to the claim, Cardenas’ family called the VA Crisis hotline on Sept. 12, 2015, and asked for medical help for their son.
