Red State – by Jay Caruso

What would you think if you were sitting home and you suddenly saw yourself on television, identified as a suspect in the deadliest attack on law enforcement officers since the 9/11 attacks? Freaked out would be one descriptor at least. It would be worse if you were identified as a suspect simply because you were exercising your constitutional rights.

That is what happened to Mark Hughes who, as we reported while it happened last night, was mistakenly identified by the Dallas Police Department in a tweet as one of the suspects in yesterday’s deadly shootings in Dallas:   Continue reading “In Dallas, Mark Hughes Exercising His Second Amendment Rights Leads To A Rush To Judgement”

After a day of fierce criticism over whether it cares about the second amendment rights of black Americans, the National Rifle Association posted a statement late Friday in response to the death of Philando Castile, an African American man shot to death by a police officer during a traffic stop.

Without mentioning Castile’s name, the gun rights organization called the reports of the 32-year-old’s death “troubling” and said they “must be thoroughly investigated”.   Continue reading “NRA comments on Philando Castile shooting without using his name”

Donald Trump has made yet another announcement that will dismay Democrats across the country, and that is his choice for Attorney General. Trump tweeted that his pick for Attorney General is South Carolina conservative Rep. Trey Gowdy, who currently chairs the U.S. House of Representative’s Select Committee on Benghazi.

Gowdy has been a constant thorn in the Obama administration’s side, and has exposed the White House’s incompetence on everything from amnesty to IRS abuses to the illegal deletion of Clinton’s emails.   Continue reading “Donald Trump Just Announced His Pick for Attorney General”

This originally appeared in November of 2013. There are many more Gang Members today than then thanks to Obama’s Amnesty program. There are many more guns. And thanks to George Soros’ funding Black Lives Matter there is a lot more racial tension. Please note that anyone wanting Blacks to win a Race War would not have flooded America with so many young Latinos with Gang Tattoos. The only person who would take those actions is someone trying to get blacks, whites and Latinos killed. I guess the Asian Americans will have to hide somewhere until the shooting is over. American Indians whom the Canadians call First Peoples, could hang out on the reservation until the shooting is over.   Continue reading “From 11-11-2013. At about 9:05 P.M. on Wednesday July 7, police from St Anthony Police Department in Falcon Heights, Minnesota shot and killed 32-year-old Philando Castile, of St. Paul. Castile had a concealed carry permit and was complying with the law, he informed the officer that he had a weapon and was reaching for his ID as the officer instructed, when he was shot four times and killed. Castile’s girlfriend Diamond Reynolds, amazingly calm, live-streamed the aftermath of the killing on Facebook. Like the news isn’t confusing enough this morning (and none of it is aboutthe FBI announcing the rule of law is now dead in America, fancy that), the US Capitol building and visitor’s center were also placed on lockdown around 8:40 am out of “an abundance of caution” following reports that security cameras caught an employee was carrying what appeared to be a firearm inside a backpack.   Continue reading “Lockdown at US Capitol Building Lifted After Employee Suspected of Carrying a Gun”

WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal judge on Wednesday ordered the State Department to speed up the release of documents related to a decision made under former Secretary Hillary Clinton to allow a foreign defense contractor that admitted criminal wrongdoing to continue doing business with the Pentagon.

The Associated Press filed a Freedom of Information Act request in 2013 for emails and internal memos involving a U.S. subsidiary of the British aerospace giant BAE Systems. AP sued after the State Department failed to provide those and other requested public records, including Clinton’s official calendars and emails transmitted through her private server.   Continue reading “Judge pushes for speedier release of Clinton-era documents”
