It’s only been two days since Donald Trump won the 2016 Presidential election, but in that time, his position on numerous policies has changed. During his campaign trail, President-elect Trump promised his supporters that he’d repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act (also known as “Obamacare”), as well as withdraw the US’ military support from South Korea.

48 hours after Hillary Clinton conceded the win to Trump, he’s changed his stance on both. The Independent reports that after Donald Trump met with President Barack Obama in the White House and the pair discussed the highlights of the Obama administration – particularly the fact that 20 million Americans have received healthcare with the Affordable Care Act (and 100,000 have signed up for Obamacare in the past 48 hours), Trump had a change of heart.   Continue reading “Trump Will Neither Repeal Obamacare Nor Withdraw US’ Support From South Korea”

Dear Sir:—Long, and, I fear, tedious, as you have found my last letter, I was compelled by a reluctance at making it longer, to compress the observations in it upon the intrinsic nature of the Masonic oaths, obligations, and penalties within a compass insufficient to disclose my opinion, and the reasons upon which it is founded.   Continue reading “John Quincy Adams’ Letter to a Ringknocker”

The government in India has recently made a move to ban large currency notes, continuing the push towards a cashless society, an effort that the country has been working on for decades. 500 and 1,000 rupee notes were banned throughout the country, which may seem like large currency notes, but they exchange for just a few American dollars, and represent 85% of the cash transactions in the country.

The ban sparked a run on the banks in India this week, with customers forming massive lines at banks attempting to get cash notes out while they still could.   Continue reading “Cashless Society: India Bans Currency Notes Sparking Chaos At Banks”
