American taxpayers are continuing to fund border security measures and border walls in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Egypt, and Lebanon with President Trump’s signing of a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spending bill.

While the United States-Mexico border received only $1.3 billion for construction of a border wall at the overwhelmed southern border with soaring illegal immigration, foreign countries are getting help from American taxpayers to secure their borders.   Continue reading “U.S. Taxpayers Fund Border Walls in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Middle East”

For nearly two decades at the Grand Canyon, tourists, employees, and children on tours passed by three paint buckets stored in the National Park’s museum collection building, unaware that they were being exposed to radiation.

Although federal officials learned last year that the 5-gallon containers were brimming with uranium ore, then removed the radioactive specimens, the park’s safety director alleges nothing was done to warn park workers or the public that they might have been exposed to unsafe levels of radiation.   Continue reading “Grand Canyon tourists exposed for years to radiation in museum building, safety manager says”

Cascade County, MT — Sexual misconduct among police officers is an unfortunately common crime. Multiple studies have shown that hundreds of cops a year are arrested or accused of sexual misconduct. In fact, the second largest complaint against officers — second only to excessive force — is that of sexual abuse. More startling is the fact that over half of the sexual abuse instances involve children. One particularly horrific example of this abuse is made by former Clark County Sheriff’s Deputy Virgil Wolfe who was arrested this month on dozens of charges of child sex abuse.   Continue reading “Serial Pedophile Cop Arrested on 80 Counts of Sexual Abuse of Children”

Enbridge, Kinder Morgan and Oiltanking have proposed the Texas Colt Offshore Loading Terminal offshore Freeport, Texas. It would be capable of loading VLCCs directly, something only the Louisiana Offshore Oil Port can currently do.   Continue reading “Competition heats up in US oil exporting race”

For the better part of 2018, Venezuela had remained out of the headlines. At least in the mainstream Western press, they were more focused on scary Russian agents, keeping American forces in Syria, and promoting a war with Iran.

But a few weeks ago, the South American country found itself on the front page after the American-backed “opposition” leader, Juan Guaido,’ claimed that he was the legitimate President of Venezuela and was immediately recognized by the United States and a host of Central and South American neighbors.   Continue reading “Here’s Why the US Should NOT Intervene in Venezuela”

We have too much debt and Montana is useless. Just tell them it has beavers or something,” reads the Change.org petition. WASHINGTON — A coalition of 16 states, including California and New York, on Monday challenged President Trump in court over his plan to use emergency powers to spend billions of dollars on his border wall.

The lawsuit is part of a constitutional confrontation that Mr. Trump set off on Friday when he declared that he would spend billions of dollars more on border barriers than Congress had granted him. The clash raises questions over congressional control of spending, the scope of emergency powers granted to the president, and how far the courts are willing to go to settle such a dispute.   Continue reading “16 States Sue to Stop Trump’s Use of Emergency Powers to Build Border Wall”
