On Tuesday, Wilson went with other members of Congress to tour a detention facility for illegal immigrants. During a press conference following the tour, Wilson made a rather interesting comment. Woodford County Emergency Management Director Drew Chandler tells WKYT two barrel warehouses at a Jim Beam aging facility caught fire around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Washington Post reports the National Park Service is diverting nearly $2.5 million in entrance and recreation fees primarily intended to improve parks across the country to cover costs associated with President Donald Trump’s Independence Day celebration on the Mall.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law suspending the Cold War-era INF Treaty. Putin announced in February that he would halt participation in the treaty after Washington’s abrupt decision to pull out of the agreement.

The Trump administration announced last October that the US would pull out of the treaty which has been a cornerstone of European security since its signing in 1987. MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. (AP/WCTV) – The Air Force says it’s investigating after a fighter jet from Moody AFB struck a bird and dropped three dummy bombs used for training over North Florida.

A box truck driver will receive nearly $200,000 from a Kentucky-based trucking company who fired the driver after he refused to drive in bad weather.
