Cases of acute hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection have spiked in the last decade, in part because of increased use of injection drugs and in part because of better surveillance, Douglas K. The Great Recession

The economy was already heaving in the toilet before COVID-19 dropped the lid on its head and sat on it. Sales, revenue, real earnings, manufacturing, and finally the services industry had all puked. Last week, stocks got the Great Flush as the market went down with the economy.

Be careful who you listen to in times of Great Depression. The permabulls are already telling their crowd now is the time to catch bargains and ride the market back up. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s senior aide Natan Eshel said that “hate is what unites” the right-wing camp led by the Likud party and that negative campaigning works well on “non-Ashkenazi voters” in a leaked recording revealed by Channel 12 on Saturday.

WASHINGTON — The Federal Emergency Management Agency is planning for the possibility that President Donald Trump could make an emergency declaration to bring in extra funds and personnel to assist the administration’s coronavirus response, according to internal documents obtained by NBC News.

Not a surprise given the news yesterday that one person there has died of the disease and two more, a teenager and a woman in her 50s, are presumptive positives. 1) Politicians take money by the truckload from the wealthy but claim they are opposed to the unequal distribution of wealth. Yet who passed the Federal Reserve Act of 1913? It gave Bankers the right to charge us interest on money they create out of nothing. The Income Tax also had to be passed in 1913 to pay for the interest on the debt that was created out of nothing. If we had not repealed President Lincoln’s non-interest bearing Greenbacks, we would save $12 billion a week we currently are paying on phony interest payments for the “fictional national debt” that need not be. An employee with the U.S. Postal Service has tested positive for coronavirus in a suburb of Seattle, Washington.

The female employee, who works at a package-sorting facility, is recovering while the sorting facility is closed for cleaning, but her condition is not known.
