HARRISBURG — It could be any day now that Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf makes good on his promise to veto legislation passed by the General Assembly recently that would do away with a need for individuals to obtain licenses to carry a concealed firearm.
Known colloquially as ‘constitutional carry,’ this permitless concealed carry process has been catching on in recent years all across the county.

WAUKESHA, Wis. — Waukesha suspect Darrell Brooks was released on $1,000 bail for allegedly running over an ex-girlfriend with his car just two weeks before the deadly Christmas parade rampage. The court record of that critical bail hearing is lost forever.
In Wisconsin every official court proceeding is memorialized either by a court reporter or a digital recording device. But the transcript of the hearing is permanently gone, an official told Fox News on Tuesday. WAUKESHA, Wis. – Darrell Brooks Jr. has spent the last 10 days locked up in a Wisconsin jail cell after allegedly mowing through the barricades and into revelers at the Waukesha Christmas parade, killing six people and injuring 62.

A total of four students are dead after a gunman opened fire at Oxford High School in Oxford, Michigan, on Tuesday. The suspect, a 15-year-old sophomore enrolled at the school, is in police custody after he allegedly fired more than 30 shots from a 9mm semi-automatic handgun.
The Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office announced on Wednesday that the 15-year-old suspect has been charged with one count of terrorism causing death; four counts of first-degree murder; seven counts of assault with intent to murder; and 12 counts of firearm possession in the commission of a felony.

In an attempt to curb a surge in overdose deaths caused by increasingly potent street drugs, New York City will authorize two supervised injection sites in Manhattan to begin operating as soon as Tuesday.
Trained staff at two sites — in the neighborhoods of East Harlem and Washington Heights — will provide clean needles, administer naloxone to reverse overdoses and provide users with options for addiction treatment, city health officials said.
