Amazon is beating its brick-and-mortar rival, Walmart, for subhuman work conditions. As happened with Walmart, the retail behemoth of virtual space is increasingly developing a monstrous reputation. Walmart had to make major changes as public scorn grew against it. Amazon will, too.

Health Impact News says that he Johnson and Johnson vaccine is an adenovirus vaccine, and there are currently no approved adenovirus vaccines in the market. The news site says that Johnson and Johnson is now testing their experimental vaccine on the public as part of their Phase 3 trials after receiving an emergency use authorization.
Benjamin Goodman, 32, took the Johnson and Johnson Covid-19 vaccine, got a severe headache, and fell asleep.
He was awakened by seizures and died in the early morning, less than 24 hours after taking the jab. He reportedly took the vaccine because he was worried about travel passes/ vaccine passports being used in New York. Desiree Penrod, a 25-year old pre-schoolteacher, took the same Johnson and Johnson vaccine in early March. Northeastern University has announced it will require students attending classes on the college’s campuses in the fall to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the first day of classes.
That safety measure, which applies to all undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students across Northeastern’s global campuses, will help the university get to a full return to campus activities, according to a message from Ken Henderson, chancellor and senior vice president for learning. President Joe Biden is expected to unveil a long-awaited package of executive actions to curb gun violence Thursday at the White House, according to four people familiar with the plan.
The announcement comes nearly three months into Biden’s term in office, a delay that had frustrated activists who wanted the president to fulfill a campaign pledge to take action on gun violence on his first day in office. Scientists have begun using the term “megadrought” to describe the multi-year drought that has been plaguing the western half of the country, and now we are being told that it looks like 2021 will be the worst year of this “megadrought” so far by a wide margin. That is extremely troubling news, because major water reservoirs have already dropped to dangerously low levels, some farmers have been told that they will not be allowed to use any water at all this year, and the dust storms in the western U.S. are becoming so large that they can actually be seen from space. Strum on whether police can enter a home without a warrant under a “community caretaking” exemption to the Fourth Amendment right against unreasonable search and seizure. The case stems from a 2015 incident in Rhode Island in which police entered an innocent man’s home, without his permission, and confiscated his firearms. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) are on a witch hunt against Dr. Joseph Mercola, who was threatened to stop writing about the health benefits of vitamin D in warding off respiratory illnesses like the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19).
Last summer, CSPI launched a social media campaign that aimed to put an immediate end to Mercola.com, the longtime health information website of Dr. Mercola. Scientists at the University of Massachusetts Amherst have developed a device that uses a natural protein to create electricity from moisture in the air, a new technology they say could have significant implications for the future of renewable energy, climate change and in the future of medicine.
As reported today in Nature, the laboratories of electrical engineer Jun Yao and microbiologist Derek Lovley at UMass Amherst have created a device they call an “Air-gen.” or air-powered generator, with electrically conductive protein nanowires produced by the microbe Geobacter. The Air-gen connects electrodes to the protein nanowires in such a way that electrical current is generated from the water vapor naturally present in the atmosphere.
