Mother Cameishi Lindley says she was shocked when she got a call last Wednesday from Wayne County Juvenile Court about her 10-year-old son Bryce Lindley. Records that local government officials in Oregon create in the course of their government work are not public records and do not have to be disclosed unless they are “owned, used or retained” by a wider public body such as a city council or school district, an Oregon judge has ruled.

A West Linn teenager had asked a court to force West Linn City Councilor Teri Cummings to make public the notes she made during council sessions and other official meetings. But Judge Henry C. The Army was short more than 5,000 junior enlisted infantrymen, with the military occupational specialty manned at roughly 79 percent of its goal earlier this quarter.

In numbers obtained by Army Times, the service’s authorized strength for E-1 through E-4 active-duty infantrymen, coded as 11B, stood at 24,893. A driver has been suspended after kicking a 19-year-old woman off his bus in Malmö, Sweden, because she was wearing “too few clothes.” The incident sparked public outrage, also forcing an apology from the transport company.

Amid Sweden’s blistering heatwave (local media say the Scandinavian nation experienced temperatures as high as … 27 degrees Celsius, or 80 degrees Fahrenheit), Amanda Hansson boarded a bus in the Swedish city, which has a large migrant community, wearing weather-appropriate shorts and a camisole top. A chilling incident in which a young boy and his mother were pushed in front of a high-speed train by an Eritrean man has sent shock waves across Germany and seemingly rekindled anti-migrant sentiment.

The tragedy took place on one of the platforms of the central railway terminal in the German city of Frankfurt – the nation’s second busiest railway hub. An eight-year-old boy and his mother were waiting for a train when they were suddenly attacked by a 40-year-old Eritrean. Chinese media is working overtime to paint the Hong Kong protest movement as a gang of violent radicals driven mad by Western propaganda. The latest round of editorial broadsides was fired over charges brought against four protesters for carrying “offensive weapons” to Saturday’s protest at the Yuen Long train station.

Yuen Long was the site of an attack by pro-Chinese forces against protesters, bystanders, and reporters the previous weekend. SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (AP) — A gunman described as a disgruntled Walmart employee fatally shot two co-workers and wounded a police officer before he was shot and arrested Tuesday at a Walmart store in northern Mississippi, authorities said.

Southaven Police Chief Macon Moore said the man, whom he did not name, shot a Southaven police officer, who was protected by a bulletproof vest and suffered minor injuries.
