LOWELL, N.C. — A police officer in North Carolina is accused of raping and impregnating the teenager he was once assigned to find in a missing persons investigation, according to a lawsuit.
The girl, who was 13 at the time, was reported missing in 2015. Lowell Police Officer James Paul Blair was put on the case and eventually he found the young teen, reported the Charlotte Observer. AT&T said Thursday that it will stop selling its customers’ location data to third-party service providers after a report this week said the information was winding up in the wrong hands.
The announcement follows sharp demands by federal lawmakers for an investigation into the alleged misuse of data, which came to light when Motherboard revealed a complex chain of unauthorized information sharing that ended with a bounty hunter successfully tracking down a reporter’s device.

Over 700 men have been detained there. Fortunately, most have been released after having been cleared of wrongdoing.
