ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the stabbings of nine people at a Minnesota mall as a potential act of terrorism, a finding that would realize long-held fears of an attack in the immigrant-rich state that has struggled to stop the recruiting of its young men by groups including the Islamic State.
A young Somali man dressed as a private security guard entered the Crossroads Center mall in St. Cloud over the weekend wielding what appeared to be a kitchen knife. The city’s police chief said the man reportedly made at least one reference to Allah and asked a victim if he or she was Muslim before attacking. AL-MOGHEER, Jordan (AP) — Jordan has demanded a detailed explanation from Israel about the killing of a 28-year-old Jordanian by Israeli troops last week. Israeli police have said Said Amro came out of a gate of Jerusalem’s Old City with a knife in each hand, shouted “God is Great” and rushed at officers before being shot dead.
The state news agency Petra says Jordan’s information minister met Monday at the Foreign Ministry with the Israeli ambassador to Jordan and asked for explanations. Also Monday, hundreds attended Amro’s funeral in the town of al-Mogheer, chanting “Death to Israel.” Continue reading “Israel asked for explanation about killing of Jordanian man”
WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. government has mistakenly granted citizenship to at least 858 immigrants from countries of concern to national security or with high rates of immigration fraud who had pending deportation orders, according to an internal Homeland Security audit released Monday.
The Homeland Security Department’s inspector general found that the immigrants used different names or birthdates to apply for citizenship with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and such discrepancies weren’t caught because their fingerprints were missing from government databases. LAST WEEK, A MAJOR censorship controversy erupted when Facebook began deleting all posts containing the iconic photograph of the Vietnamese “Napalm Girl” on the ground that it violated the company’s ban on “child nudity.” Facebook even deleted a post from the prime minister of Norway, who posted the photograph in protest of the censorship. As outrage spread, Facebook ultimately reversed itself — acknowledging “the history and global importance of this image in documenting a particular moment in time” — but this episode illustrated many of the dangers I’ve previously highlighted in having private tech companies like Facebook, Twitter, and Google become the arbiters of what we can and cannot see. PERTH, Australia (INTELLIHUB) — A woman traveling through Australia on a connecting flight was horrified to find out that the airline she was aboard forcefully sprays all boarded passengers and staff with a toxic pesticide, an aerosol named d-Phenothrin. The new protocols come in wake of the newly emerging and likely staged Zika virus threat, which the Obama Admin has requested nearly $2 million in funding to fight.
Astonishingly, the woman, Petra Haluska, filmed the entire process from inside the cabin as humans were literally being bombed with the colorless spray like bugs. Continue reading “Passengers hit with dual aerosol bug bombs while trapped inside airline cabin”

Gretna, LA – Caught on video beating a handcuffed man without provocation, a Louisiana cop was recently fired and arrested nearly five months after the incident. According to Gretna Police Chief Arthur Lawson Jr., his department had no knowledge of the needless beating until last month during an internal inquiry.

After the United States launched an attack against Syrian forces in Deir al-Zour early on Saturday morning, Russia is now calling for an urgent meeting of the United Nations Security Council and an immediate explanation from the United States.
The Americans claim that the bombing was merely a mistake; however, it is hard to make that claim when the two sides were in battle with one another at the time of the airstrikes. In addition, the United States did not inform the Russians of the attack plan and thus Russia was not able to inform the U.S. that the Syrian forces were in that location. As a result, many may legitimately wonder whether or not the U.S. did not contact the Russians in order to maintain plausible deniability. While the media has been mostly obsessing over the recently leaked Colin Powell emails that discuss either Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, or Donald Trump, a just as important, from a geopolitical perspective, email was revealed by the DCLeaks website, in which the former Secretary of State admits that Israel as 200 nuclear weapons “all targeted” at Iran, so Iran can’t use one even if “they finally make one.” Powell’s assessment of Iran’s nuclear capacity comes two weeks after it was revealed that the Obama administration had granted Iran “Secret” nuclear deal exemptions, despite claiming otherwise.
