Judy Walkman, a professional genealogy researcher in southern California , was doing some personal work on her own family tree. She discovered that Senator Harry Reid’s great-great uncle, Remus Reid, was hanged for horse stealing and train robbery in Montana, in 1889. Both Judy and Harry Reid share this common ancestor.

WASHINGTON – In a move lawmakers and farmers are calling “the biggest land grab in the history of the world,” the Environmental Protection Agency is requesting jurisdiction over all public and private streams in the United States that are “intermittent, seasonal and rain-dependent.”

A series of emails from ex-IRS official Lois Lerner, who twice refused to answer questions from Congress about her targeting of conservative groups, reveals she was in contact with Eric Holder’s Department of Justice about prosecuting those organizations, according to the Washington watchdog group Judicial Watch.
“These new emails show that the day before she broke the news of the IRS scandal, Lois Lerner was talking to a top Obama Justice Department official about whether the DOJ could prosecute the very same organizations that the IRS had already improperly targeted,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton Wednesday. Every American, whether he knows it or not, owes a huge debt of gratitude to the militiamen who stood bravely against tyranny at the Bundy ranch last week. Without pay or compensation, and not for fame or glory, they traveled from their home towns to the Bundy ranch to stand up for all of our freedom and Constitutional rights, and had they not done so, what little that remains of our freedom would have been reduced a little more.
These brave Americans quite literally risked their lives against unknowable odds simply because it was what needed to be done for the salvation of our great republic, and had they not been there, the Bundy family probably would have been shot to pieces, and any “peaceful protesters” would have been gassed and abused by the federal thugs who regularly abuse unarmed protesters with impunity, and obviously enjoy doing so. Radioactive waste from fracking has shown up in a small North Dakota town, opening a new chapter in the debate over the controversial process.
In remote Noonan, a town with fewer than 200 residents, local officials found hundreds of trash bags filled with mildly radioactive waste in an abandoned building. EXTON, PA — Police followed an innocent man into his home, believing that he was a fleeing suspect. When the man protested being handcuffed on his own floor with strangers searched his home, an officer cussed at him and stomped on his head, causing multiple facial fractures and shattered teeth. The scene was so gruesome that a cop testified against a fellow cop. Yet instead of being fired, that stomping officer was later promoted, and now has been officially cleared of violating the victim’s civil rights.
