WASHINGTON (CBSNewYork/AP) —Nutritionists call them one of the worst fats and a leading contributor to heart attacks.

Now, the Food and Drug Administration is taking steps to ban trans fats.

In 2006, New York City issued a first-of-its-kind rule restricting artificial trans fat in restaurants, forcing them to alter recipes so that foods contained no more than 0.5 grams per serving. Obamacre is forcing tens of millions of Americans who do not currently have state assisted Medicaid to calculate their budgets. Of obvious concern to families is their higher insurance premiums and healthcare deductibles. DHS is in the midst of a project where video footage taken of people moving throughout the Toyota Center in Kennewick, Wash., will be combined with mock profiles of volunteers (This is 100% B/S  no one refused). Then various commercial off-the-shelf facial recognition products will be tested to see how accurate they are.

The data being collected consists of video taken during home games of the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League. The Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) is handling video collection. WASHINGTON — The C.I.A. is paying AT&T more than $10 million a year to assist with overseas counterterrorism investigations by exploiting the company’s vast database of phone records, which includes Americans’ international calls, according to government officials.

The cooperation is conducted under a voluntary contract, not under subpoenas or court orders compelling the company to participate, according to the officials. The C.I.A. supplies phone numbers of overseas terrorism suspects, and AT&T searches its database and provides records of calls that may help identify foreign associates, the officials said. The company has a huge archive of data on phone calls, both foreign and domestic, that were handled by its network equipment, not just those of its own customers.   Continue reading “C.I.A. WEB Notes: 20% enrichment is not bomb grade. Iran would need to reach 90% enrichment before they would have the required fuel to make a nuclear bomb. Of course they would need to design that bomb in such a fashion that it could be placed on a rocket. Of course they do not have such a rocket that can reliably deliver the payload required. The Silk Road is dead. But the dark web dream lives on.

On Wednesday morning, Silk Road 2.0 came online, promising a new and slightly improved version of the anonymous black market for drugs and other contraband that the Department of Justice shut down just over a month before. Like the old Silk Road, which until its closure served as the Web’s most popular bazaar for anonymous narcotics sales, the new site uses the anonymity tool Tor and the cryptocurrency Bitcoin to protect the identity of its users. As of Wednesday morning, it already sported close to 500 drug listings, ranging from marijuana to ecstasy to cocaine.
