A politician’s life often seems rather pleasant.
Yes, people tend to abuse you to your face. But there are hidden perks that surely make you feel a little like Nero, before Rome caught fire. Continue reading “Guess who doesn’t get radar tickets in Colorado? Politicians”

A bizarre ‘backwards’ storm going from East to West is getting ready to strike the US this week. Is this just one more sign of a ‘pole shift’ due to the existence of another planetary body in outerspace approaching the Earth? Is this weather modification? HAARP? It is said that the jetstream over America is so weak, the weather is moving backwards… Coincidentally, or not, HAARP seems to be heating up much of the same area. A form of of malware exists that could enable government agencies and others to use your own mobile devices to spy on you. The malware is called Finfisher or FinSpy, and it is actually marketed to law enforcement and intelligent agencies by a shadowy company called Gamma International.
Gamma markets Finfisher as an “IT intrusion” software; that’s a polite term for hacking. The scary thing about Finfisher is that a variant of it called FinSpy can actually take over smartphones, including both iPhones and phones running Windows Mobile. It was just over a year ago that Obama signed an Exective Order on communications, titled Assignment of National Security and Emergency Preparedness Communication Functions . He placed himself in control through the Department of Homeland Security at Section 2.3. That Executive Order was signed on July 7, 2012. It has taken time for this to show up in our real world, but now it has.
In early April, Verizon began a Emergency Wireless Alert system through cell phones, iPhones, Blackberries and other devices . At first they have just been alerts on weather, such as possible flooding and other storms. Scroll down to #14 on the Emergency Wireless link and you will see that you can end Amber Alerts on the disappearances of people or children and Imminent Danger Alerts for weather, but not Presidential alerts. The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence has sued the small town of Nelson, Georgia for a symbolic ordinance that requires households to own a firearm.
Kate Brumback from the Associated Press wrote yesterday that a lawyer, Jonathan Lowy, for the Brady Center called the ordinance “misguided and unconstitutional,” and basically wants to make an example of the small town, as others have similar laws on the books. NEW YORK — A judge presiding over the civil trial of a former Goldman Sachs trader accused of misleading investors about the true prospects of their bet on a package of mortgage-based securities has summed up the charges against him with a fairy tale, saying it’s as if he’s accused of handing Little Red Riding Hood an invitation to grandmother’s house while concealing the fact the invitation was written by the Big Bad Wolf. On Friday, the US Department of Justice (DOJ) released a memorandum setting forth new “guidelines” concerning government surveillance of members of the press. “These revised guidelines will help ensure the proper balance is struck when pursuing investigations into unauthorized disclosures,” announced Attorney General Eric Holder.
Billed on the front page of the New York Times as a major reform that “would significantly narrow the circumstances under which journalists’ records could be obtained,” the memorandum actually does nothing of the kind. The Internet is littered with stories of “chemtrails” and geoengineering to combat “global warming” and until recently I took these stories with a grain of salt. One of the main reasons for my skepticism was that I rarely saw what they were describing in the skies. But over the past several years I have notice a great number of these trails and I have to admit they are not like the contrails I grew up seeing in the skies. They are extensive, quite broad, are laid in a definite pattern and slowly evolve into artificial clouds. Of particular concern is that there are now so many dozens every day are littering the skies. There were over 300 security cameras at Dulles International Airport on September 11, 2001, which retained their images for 30 days, and which were painstakingly examined by information systems technicians and monitored by federal agents. The US government did not release a single time-stamped video or any of the images from these 300 security cameras. Israel used a Turkish military base to launch one of its recent airstrikes against Syria from the sea, a reliable source told RT. Israel has been under scrutiny since last week, when it was reported to be responsible for a July 5 depot attack in Latakia.

How did it ever come down to abandoning peace keeping and accepting law enforcement by any means? Even the New York Times expresses alarm in, When the Police Go Military.
“The Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 generally bars the military from law enforcement activities within the United States. But today, some local and city police forces have rendered the law rather moot. They have tanks – yes, tanks, often from military surplus, for use in hostage situations or drug raids – not to mention the sort of equipment and training one would need to deter a Mumbai-style guerrilla assault.” Continue reading “The Psychotic Militarization of Law Enforcement”
President Barack Obama issued a long-awaited response Sunday afternoon to the acquittal of George Zimmerman Saturday evening, reminding Americans to temper “passions,” and that “we are a nation of laws and the jury has spoken.”
He added that Americans should “honor” the life of Trayvon Martin by committing to “stem the tide of gun violence,” and “ask ourselves if we are doing all we can to widen the circle of compassion in our communities.” Continue reading “Obama Responds to Zimmerman Verdict: ‘Stem the Tide of Gun Violence’ — For Trayvon”
