The Obama administration has a new partner in crime and it is the American Psychiatric Association (APA). The APA created the new Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (5th Edition) which was recently adopted. DSM 5 is highly controversial and has sparked outrage from the mental health practitioners. As many of these practitioners point out, the new DSM-V makes a pathology out of simple and normal behaviors such as grieving for the loss of a loved one.
This constitutes a new subjective approach in diagnosing of mental illness in that it promises to end free speech and any form of political dissent. The federal government has already declared anyone who opposes its unconstitutional policies as having “political paranoia,” which is now diagnosed as a type of mental illness. Mayor de Blasio on Friday joined nearly 30 large-city mayors from around the nation to support President Obama’s executive action on immigration reform.
At the US Conference of Mayors meeting in Washington, DC, the coalition announced a joint court filing to defend the executive action from a legal challenge brought in Texas.

US President Barack Obama on Saturday embarked on his highly anticipated three-day landmark trip to India during which the two countries will strive to make progress on climate change, defence and economic cooperation.
Obama left by Air Force One, the presidential aircraft, from the Andrews Air Force Base. The President is accompanied by a sizeable delegation that will include several top officials, as well as First Lady Michelle Obama. CINCINNATI (CN) – The 6th Circuit seemed unlikely Wednesday to revive civil-rights claims by members of the Hutaree Militia, a group that thinks President Barack Obama is the antichrist.

A sheriff in Fulton County, New York, is taking on that state’s anti-gun establishment by defying an attempt to have legal handgun owners “recertify” their right to bear arms with the state bureaucracy.
New York adopted the sweeping SAFE Act legislation in 2013 with most of the attention focused on a ban on “assault rifles” and high-capacity magazines. But a little-known provision of the bill requires every handgun owner to recertify their permit with the local sheriff or clerk’s office by 2018. The counties are then required to upload the permit information to a statewide digital database that is being created. The process must be repeated every five years. The first batch of GlaxoSmithKline’s experimental Ebola vaccine has been shipped to West Africa and is expected to arrive in Liberia later on Friday, the British drugmaker said.
The shipment, of an initial 300 vials of the vaccine, will be the first to arrive in one of the three main Ebola-affected African countries, GSK said in a statement.

Once upon a time, there was a saying “no taxation without representation.” Well, in America’s transition to an utopia of French or even Venezuelan caliber, for half the population taxation became an anachronism from a bygone era, which in turn meant that representation likewise lost its charm. However, in order to preserve a political system in which the votes of the many are bought with the money of the few or, as the case may be these days, with money printed out of thin air by the Federal Reserve, there was one bureaucratic hurdle: one still needed a US passport in order to vote. However if a newly introduced bill in Washington D.C. passes, one won’t even need to be a citizen in order to vote in local elections. Republicans have a backup plan for approving the Keystone XL oil pipeline if President Obama vetoes the bill now moving through the Senate, a top House Republican suggested Wednesday.
House Rules Committee Chairman Pete Sessions (R-Texas) struck a positive tone about the pipeline fight in a radio interview, suggesting the GOP could have other ways to secure a veto-proof majority for the pipeline. While jailed San Diego Rap musician, Brandon, “Tiny Doo,” Duncan makes his political statement all the way to trial this Friday, Jan 23, 2015, he jeopardizes his freedom to defend his innocence and his art. He has been in a San Diego jail for almost six months. While it would seem a given that he will be found innocent, the recent history of new US legislation, and the results of jury trials applied to civil rights issues peculiar to law enforcement and African-Americans, make the upcoming trial more of a dice-roll than should be. A new anti-cyberbullying law in Illinois effectively allows schools to force students to hand over their social media passwords if they are suspected to have been the victim of or otherwise involved in cyberbullying.
