Anatoly Antonov, Russia’s ambassador to the United States, responded to Democrat President Joe Biden enacting some sanctions against Russia in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine by saying that America’s citizens would be punished as a result.

“The measures include freezing the assets of two state-owned banks that service the Kremlin and Russia’s military. They also target Kremlin ‘elites’ close to Russian President Vladimir Putin and the country’s sovereign debt, strictly limiting the government’s ability to access Western financing,” The Washington Post reported. “But the United States stopped short, for now, of putting in place the most severe of the measures it had previewed.” Continue reading “Russia Responds To Biden Sanctions: America’s Citizens Will Feel ‘Consequences’ Of Us Raising Gas Cost”

Within the next couple of months it is likely that there will be direct US military involvement in Ukraine, with Russia now openly supporting and recognizing separatist groups in the Donbass region on the eastern edge of the country and apparently moving to aid them militarily in separation. Russia has today launched all-out war on Ukraine with simultaneous attacks coming from south, east and north, by land and by air. Ukrainian forces were this afternoon fighting in almost every region of the country, the police service said, fighting the Russians for control of military bases, airports and cities after an early-hours barrage of cruise missiles and guided bombs targeting ammo dumps and radar arrays across the entire country. As Putin geared up to take Ukraine, Democrat and Republican congress members were busy partying in Israel on an all-expenses-paid AIPAC-affiliated junket to affirm their “unwavering support” for America’s “great ally” — even though Israeli officials have made it abundantly clear they will not be participating in any war over Ukraine, lest it jeopardize Israel’s close relationship with Russia. The Arizona House Appropriations Committee on Monday green-lit a bill that would criminalize filming cops on the job in some cases, reinvigorating questions around the constitutionality of such provisions.

If passed into law, House Bill 2311 would make it illegal “for a person to knowingly make a video recording of law enforcement activity, including the handling of an emotionally disturbed person, if the person does not have the permission of the law enforcement officer” and is within 8 feet of the cop. The original text stipulated that it would be a crime to do so within 15 feet, but Rep. John Kavanagh (R–D23), the bill’s sponsor, altered the radius in an amendment meant to assuage constitutional objections.  Continue reading “Arizona House Committee Approves Bill To Criminalize Filming Cops on the Job”
