Last year, Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture officials sent ‘a friendly letter’ to a seed bank/seed exchange group in Mechanicsburg, telling them they need to test every variety of seed with extremely impractical and pointless tests to ensure that they are up to standards with regulations.

‘Agri-Terrorism’was cited by officials as a reason why such regulations should be enforced on something as natural as the right to exchange and possess seeds.   Continue reading “State Departments of Agriculture are Attempting to Regulate Seed Banks Out of Existence”

FBI agents investigating the Sony Pictures hack were briefed Monday by a security firm that says its research points to laid-off Sony staff, not North Korea, as the perpetrator another example of the continuing whodunit blame game around the devastating attack.

Even the unprecedented decision to release details of an ongoing FBI investigation and President Barack Obama publicly blaming the hermit authoritarian regime hasn’t quieted a chorus of well-qualified skeptics who say the evidence just doesn’t add up.   Continue reading “FBI briefed on alternate Sony hack theory”

In 1950, a wave of anti Semitism and terrorism in Iraq made Naeim Giladi, 21, join the Zionist underground.

Giladi was imprisoned, tortured and sentenced to death by Iraqi authorities. He escaped and fled to Israel only to discover that the anti Semitism and bombings had been engineered by his fellow Zionists to dupe Iraqi Jews like himself into going to Israel.

In pursuing both personal and professional shooting endeavors over the last several years, I’ve prepared a fair number of new and used firearms for first-time trips to the shooting range. Experience has taught me that one can never assume a gun is ready to shoot until it has been thoroughly checked out. While some gun problems will not present themselves until the gun is fired, many potential issues can be resolved or avoided if they are identified before the trigger is pressed. Here are a few important steps to take before loading a new gun, or a used gun you have never fired:   Continue reading “8 Checks to Run Before Firing Your New Gun”

Ukraine shut down one of the six reactors in its most powerful nuclear power plant today – for the second time in a month – because of an apparent electrical malfunction.

The Zaporizhia nuclear plant’s website insisted that radiation levels in the area remained normal after the sixth reactor was “disconnected from the grid by the generator’s internal defence mechanism”.

An official statement said the plant was “operating at 40 per cent power… The reasons for the outage are being investigated”.   Continue reading “Ukraine turns off reactor at its most powerful nuclear plant after ‘accident’”

Researchers at the Keck School of Medicine (KSM) at the University of Southern California (USC) presented a study at the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ACN) showing that fructose, a component of high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) can make you feel hungry even after you have eaten, increasing the likelihood of overeating.

The researchers found “fructose ingestion produces smaller increases in circulating satiety hormones than glucose ingestion. Further, administration of fructose directly into the brain provokes feeding in rodents, whereas glucose administered this way promotes satiety, or the feeling of being full.”   Continue reading “Why Would High-Fructose Corn Syrup Make You Hungry?”

There are few issues as polarizing as whether or not marijuana should be legalized on a recreational or medical level. Yet in spite of the wide variance in views, marijuana’s recent momentum towards legalization is undeniable.

Marijuana gains momentum
Since 1996, when California became the first state to legalize the use of marijuana for medical purposes, we’ve witnessed 22 additional states pass laws allowing for its medical use. Furthermore, in 2012 and 2014 we saw a pair of states pass laws allowing for the legal sale of recreational, adult-use marijuana. In fact, one of the biggest victories for marijuana proponents came this year when residents in Alaska and Oregon both voted to legalize recreational marijuana.   Continue reading “This is potentially bad news for the legal marijuana movement”

The dumbing down of America is accelerating.  A massive federal takeover of education known as “Common Core” is attempting to impose nationwide academic standards on public schools throughout the entire country.  Thanks to the backing of billionaire Bill Gates, endless promotion by the U.S. Department of Education, and financial bribes to state governments by the Obama administration, 45 states and Washington, D.C. have already agreed to implement the full Common Core standards in their schools.  Unfortunately, these “standards” are doing to public education what Obamacare is doing to our health care system – absolutely ruining it.  Just look at how basic math instruction has changed.  Posted below is a comparison between the “old method” of subtraction and the “new method” of subtraction being taught in many of our schools.  When I first came across this on Facebook, I thought that it was a joke…   Continue reading “You Won’t Believe The Method That Common Core Is Using To Teach Our Kids Subtraction”
