People never really recover from the death of a child. How much more difficult, then, is it to deal with the deaths of other children whom your child has killed? Most parents are not able to talk about it publicly. But the statement released by the parents of the young man who killed six other young people at the University of Santa Barbara over the weekend is illuminating.

Elliot Rodger’s mother and father, who were on their way to their son when they heard about the murders and all their worst fears came true, asked a family friend, Simon Astaire, to release a statement to the media.   Continue reading “Elliot Rodger’s Parents Break Silence on Shooting”

The more I think about the overreach of the BLM (Federal Government), the more my skin just crawls. When I think of the two women that got beat up and the eight to ten men that were beat up and tazered by BLM Federal Agents, the NDAA comes to mind.

For those of you who are not familiar with the NDAA or National Defense Authorization Act, allow me to summarize the powers that are now granted to Federal Agents. The moment that anyone, including law abiding American citizens, is labeled a “Domestic Terrorist” their constitutional rights become null and void, and they can be detained and incarcerated indefinitely, without charges, due process, and without probable cause and without bail.   Continue reading “Bundy ranch incident may change America”

Government on Drugs

Thanks to New Mexico cop block for this

(Albuquerque Journal) The homeless man shot and killed in the Sandia Foothills in mid-March was shot three times, including in the lower-left back, and had no illegal drugs in his system, according to an autopsy and toxicology report released by the Office of the Medical Investigator on Thursday.

James Boyd was seen on helmet-cam video as officers tried to coax him out of the foothills for camping illegally. He brandished two small knives at officers but appeared to surrender and begin walking down the hill when officers shot at him. Jacksonville has seen this horror show too often in recent years.

A spike of violent crime.

Leaders mobilize.

Police saturate neighborhoods.

Add prevention and intervention to the mix.

We called this the Jacksonville Journey. But it never reached its funding targets. The Great Recession took care of that.   Continue reading “Operation Ceasefire: City knows how to reduce violence”

Call it what you will: Theatrical stage blood, fake blood or crisis actor blood; no matter what it is called, it is a convenient eye-catcher - the oldest of all tricks. Unlike Sandy Hook and the recent Santa Barbara contrived event, the Boston Marathon Bombing event used lots of theatrical blood to make it appear real.Moral Maters

TULSA, Okla. (INTELLIHUB) — According to reports, a campus cop, who was working the Elliot Elementary School campus recently, fired upon a teen couple who were merely making out in a parked vehicle.

AUSTIN, Texas — A Texas group responsible for Chipotle’s new “no guns” policy and famous for its public demonstrations has a new target in its sights: the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.

Open Carry Texas formed in early 2013 after its founder, active U.S. Army Master Sergeant CJ Grisham, was arrested for resisting arrest after a Temple policeman balked at his carrying a rifle on a hike with his son. Last year, it held armed rallies outside the Alamo and the state Capitol in Austin.   Continue reading “Open carry demonstrators who inspired Chipotle gun ban target BLM”

East San Joaquin Valley farmers, facing a zero water allocation this summer, are asking a judge to stop unprecedented water releases that started last week at Millerton Lake.

The Friant Water Authority, representing 15,000 east-side growers, says federal leaders are not following a long-established water-rights pecking order in releasing Millerton water, which would help save thousands of acres of east-side orchards.   Continue reading “East Valley farmers sue to stop Millerton Lake water release”
