Bill de Blasio was born Warren Wilhelm, Jr. on May 8, 1961 in New York City and grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Shortly after graduating with a bachelor’s degree from New York University in 1983, he legally changed his name to Warren de Blasio-Wilhelm, adding his mother’s maiden name to his identity. In 2002 he changed his name for a second time and became Bill de Blasio.
De Blasio took his first job in 1984 with the NYC Department of Juvenile Justice. Three years later, having recently earned a master’s degree at Columbia University‘s School of International and Public Affairs, he was hired to work as a political organizer by the Quixote Center (QC), a Maryland-based, Catholic social-justice organization with Marxist leanings. OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — An Osceola County mother is outraged after she said her 8-year-old son was kicked out of class for playing cops with his friends at Harmony Community School and using his finger to simulate a handgun.

A six-minute video posted online Monday morning shows a terrifying high-speed confrontation in New York as a black SUV was chased by dozens of motorcyclists before the SUV’s driver was pulled out of his vehicle and beaten in front of his wife and child.
Sunday’s confrontation appears to have started after the Range Rover made contact with a motorcycle. After the apparent collision, dozens of riders stopped and surrounded the SUV — and the driver took off, running over several bikes in the process. A train that was not in service hit a full one while it was waiting in a Forest Park CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) station. According to United Press International on Sept. 30, although it was likely a mechanical failure, which caused this accident, they cannot yet rule out that it was done on purpose. Following Pope Francis’ demand that the Vatican Bank review its procedures, Reuters reports that the bank islikely to close all accounts held by foreign embassies, following concerns about large cash deposits and withdrawals by the missions of Iran, Iraq and Indonesia, according to people with knowledge of the situation.
