I haven’t fished much since I was a kid, mostly because I just don’t have the time. I’m not going to cover the basics of fishing. Instead, I want to go over some tactics for survival fishing. Some of these ways to fish may or may not be legal in your area. Check your local laws. These are good things to have an understanding of. If you find yourself in a survival situation, legal or not, you’ll do what you need to do survive. Continue reading “Survival Fishing”

While politicians talk about expanding background checks for gun owners, I’m starting to think that what we really need are IQ tests for political officeholders. The only problem is, that might leave us with a lot of vacancies in Congress and America’s statehouses.
The debacle over New York’s rushed-through gun bill is one example of what happens when enthusiasm meets stupid. But another is to be found in Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Colo.), who supports a ban on full-capacity magazines without understanding what a magazine actually is. Continue reading “We need an IQ test for politicians”
Manasquan, NJ –-(Ammoland.com)- Remember all those who denied that firearms confiscation as a result of New York’s new gun laws was too “insane” to even consider?
That it was strictly in the realm of paranoid conspiracy theorists and the “it cant happen here crowd”? Continue reading “NY Gun Confiscation Underway – Citizens Told to Turn in Pistol Owner ID & Firearms”
LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) – Scientists and beekeepers have been baffled by Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) which is characterized by the sudden disappearance of the hive’s worker population.
According to the USDA, Symptoms of CCD include few or no adult honeybees present, honey and immature bees (broods) remain present in the hive suggesting a sudden abandonment of the hive–a possible response to stress. However, the bees are never found elsewhere, they simply disappear and die. Usually, the queen bee is left behind but dies without establishing a new population. An Argentine man who thought he bought a pair of poodles at an outdoor market in Buenos Aires brought them home to the vet only to be told they were actually ferrets on steroids, reports the Daily Mail.

President Obama recently gave a speech in Colorado regarding the new gun laws that have just been passed. As always Mr. Obama tried to give the impression that he had the support of everyone and their brother as he had the local police force set up behind him.
That same day the county sheriff made a video ridiculing such a stunt and supporting the second amendment. We need more like him to take a stand. Continue reading “The Constitution does constrain the President, for now?”

The First Basic Law of Human Stupidity asserts without ambiguity: always and inevitably everyone underestimates the number of stupid individuals in circulation. At first, the statement sounds trivial. Closer scrutiny reveals its veracity. No matter how high are one’s estimates of human stupidity, one is repeatedly startled by the fact that: people whom one had once judged rational and intelligent turn out to be unashamedly stupid. Additionally, day after day, with unceasing monotony, one is harassed in one’s activities by stupid individuals who appear suddenly and unexpectedly in the most inconvenient places and at the most improbable moments. (Source: Carlo M. Cipolla, Professor of Economics, UC Berkeley) Continue reading “First Law of Human Stupidity: Exposing a mass amnesty’s ultimate results”
The Maryland government, under direct order of Obama and the EPA will now begin taxing the state’s 10 largest counties according to the rain that falls on their property and the “impervious surfaces” on their land.
Yesterday we reported that Wesley Snipes was finally released from prison after serving a 3 year sentence for refusing to pay the government extortion racket known as “taxation”. If you had a difficult time seeing through the scam of taxation with that story, hopefully this one can show you how taxation is blatant theft and thuggery. Thousands of gallons of oil have spilled from a pipeline in Texas, the third accident of its kind in only a week.

A new ACLU report accuses Ohio courts of imprisoning people who are unable to pay court fees. The group, which claims to have found evidence in seven counties, likened the practice to a resurgence of debtor’s prisons – which were outlawed by the 1830s.
Entitled “The Outskirts of Hope,” the report also accuses Ohio judges of consistently denying those locked up in such circumstances court hearings to prove their financial status. Continue reading “ACLU catches Ohio jailing those too poor to pay fines”
What does spring taste like?

It was reported in the mainstream about this time last year that we were seeing an exodus of illegal aliens leaving the United States because of our bad jobs market. We called this fraud a fraud and countered that as amnesty was being pushed at every level and as the US safety net is open to any and every illegal, quite the opposite would have to be the reality. And now we are finding out that we were absolutely correct in our deduction.
It was recently reported that only 3% of those attempting to invade across our southern border are even being acknowledged as the multitudes continue to swarm in. The fact is the numbers coming in from the south are escalating as new guarantees for amnesty are being put forth by the traitors in both the false left and false right of the false paradigm.
