Tempe, AZ — Jazmine Faye and her boyfriend Bryan Acosta were trying to have a night out on Tempe, Arizona’s famed Mill Avenue June 7th. They’d partied at the Zuma Grill before, and had a great time, so they thought they’d go back. Little did they know the night would end with Bryan getting a beatdown by the Tempe Police Department for mistaking his legitimate New York Driver’s License for a fake one.

It all started when Acosta’s driver’s license was confiscated by the bar’s security guard because the Arizona bouncer said the New York drivers license looked fake to him. Instead of returning the questionable identification, he simply put it in his pocket and ignored his requests to get back his license.

Following up on an executive order, Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke has recommended President Donald Trump review the boundaries of the Bears Ears National Monument in Utah, which was created by former President Barack Obama.

Zinke’s plan follows Trump’s April executive order to review 27 national monuments.

An earthquake with a magnitude of at least 6.0, at a depth of approximately 10km, has struck off the coast of western Turkey. Effects of the quake have been felt in the cities of Izmir and as far away as Athens in Greece, according to the European Earthquake monitor, EMSC.

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. –  A Florida sheriff’s office posted a controversial message on social media, urging citizens to arm themselves in self-defense.

Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey posted the video on Facebook Wednesday, two days after a deadly workplace shooting in nearby Orlando claimed the lives of five people.
