CARACAS— Venezuelans are rushing to the banks this week in a desperate attempt to protect their savings from the government’s latest spasm of reckless financial policymaking.

It happened in Tonkawa.

The details in the case are disturbing.

An order to keep residents indoors has been issued in Rutherford County, Tennessee, and specific neighborhoods are being evacuated, after a commercial vehicle carrying swimming pool cleaning supplies crashed into another truck, officials said.

The truck carrying pool cleaning supplies like chlorine tablets, oxidizers, and corrosives caught fire on the side of the highway near the tree line, according to a Rutherford County 911 dispatcher and the Tennessee Highway Patrol, sending the the toxic plume into the air. Bakersfield, CA — At 12:30 am on Monday morning, Bakersfield police shot and killed 73-year-old Francisco Serna as he stood in his driveway. Immediately following the shooting, police released details noting that Serna was killed for ‘brandishing a gun.’ However, early Tuesday morning, we’ve now learned that there was never a gun and police fabricated that vital piece of information.

Tennessee Rep. Marsha Blackburn doesn’t have a very good history demonstrating any knowledge of how the internet works. She’s generally in favor of two very stupid policies related to the internet. First, getting rid of net neutrality. Second, forcing tech companies to censor the internet to stop “piracy.” The fact that her rationales for these two things are completely in conflict with each other doesn’t seem to enter her thought process. That is, she claims that there shouldn’t be any net neutrality because it’s important to keep the internet free from all regulations.
