After sustained defensive combat against Ukrainian troops in the self-proclaimed People’s Republic of Donetsk during August, rebels are now reporting of entrapping two large groups of Kiev troops and seizing military hardware in a counteroffensive.
The main headquarters of the DPR army has made a decision to stop operations in small groups and form full-bodied independent military units, the anti-Kiev forces say in a summary of their operations filed on Sunday. The National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 did make America a War Zone. It took away our Bill of Rights that had protected us from torture and indefinite detention and guaranteed us the right to a speedy trial, to legal counsel and to a trial by jury. Courts everywhere have said the police are allowed to use pain to force you to comply with an officer’s orders. If you raise your hands to defend yourself from a cop’s blows, you can be arrested and convicted of a felony for resisting arrest. The California Supreme Court even went further and ruled that if we refuse to talk to the police that the authorities can take that as an admission of guilt. Recent studies have shown that police are held almost completely unaccountable by the current systems of governmental oversight. Perhaps this is the reason why you are 9 times more likely to be killed by a law enforcement officer than a terrorist. Rather than wait for bloated bureaucracy or corrupt government to save the day, we as activists have to find our own solutions. Technology is one of these solutions.
As we have seen, the violent crackdown on independent journalism in Ferguson is a sign of a worsening situation in much of America. More than ever, each citizen needs to become a member of the media and record everything that they see during encounters with the police. The immediate problem in Ferguson, MO has to do with the potential of martial law being called there. A few days ago, I thought, “well, that’s obviously what they want!” However, since then, I’ve paid attention to what leaders in the UN are saying and, as it turns out, I’m thinking martial law is only a step on the ladder. The final step may well be giving the UN permission to insert itself into the situation in Ferguson so that they will be able to call the shots with the Obama administration. I wrote about that and the article – Ultimate Gameplan: Obama Defers to United Nations to Remove America’s Sovereignty – on another site.

The Islamic State spokesperson who threatened the United States by pledging to “raise the flag of Allah” over the White House has been killed.
According to the US State Department, Islamic State rep Abu Mosa was killed in Syria during an attack at the Tabqa Airbase. This battle apparently involved forces under the Syrian government of Bashar Assad, which is in the midst of a deadly civil war that has raged for three years now. NEW INFORMATION: State Police say the gun used in the death of Victor White III is NOT a weapon carried by the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Officer.
“My son didn’t shoot himself. I never believed it. I won’t believe it,” said Victor White, Sr., the father of 22-year-old Victor White, III, who back in March, died from a gunshot wound.
It happened while handcuffed in the backseat of an Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office patrol car, during a drug arrest. According to State Police, who are handling the investigation, once at the jail, White refused to exit the vehicle. As the arresting deputy requested assistance, they say white produced a handgun he had been hiding in his pants, and shot himself in the back.
