As tensions continue to mount in Ferguson, police officers were captured on video threatening to shoot one journalist and mace another. Other reporters allege they were arrested while covering the protests.
Shortly before midnight Sunday, a police officer was recorded on video giving a reporter a verbal dressing down for flashing a light from a video camera into the officer’s face.

Texas Governor Rick Perry, a potential Republican Presidential candidate in 2016, has announced that he will fight allegations of power abuse against him, calling the accusations a political move that rips away the very fabric of the US constitution.
“This indictment amounts to nothing more than an abuse of power and I cannot, and I will not allow that to happen,” Perry said in Austin, Texas, adding that he stands by his use of the veto power which ended in charges being laid against him.
“We don’t settle political differences with indictments in this country. EVANSVILLE, IN — An innocent elderly woman’s home was raided by SWAT when she was suspected of using the internet to trash-talk and post threats toward the local police. In response, gun-wielding assailants breached her doors and windows in a violent search for electronic evidence.
The hair-raising incident took place at the household of Louise Milan on Powell Street. It was the place where she and her husband had raised their six children, and had lived for three decades. Peaceful vigils were held in 90 cities across the United States last night as part of the social media led National Moment of Silence for Victims of Police Brutality.
Among the victims remembered were Michael Brown, 18, the unarmed black teen who was shot and killed during an incident with an officer in a St. Louis suburb last Saturday; and Eric Garner, 43, an unarmed Staten Island man who died of a fatal heart attack after being pinned to the ground during his arrest.
