“No-bama, no bases, no war,” chanted an angry crowd of protesters in Manila Monday, infuriated by a ten-year defense deal in which the United States promised support for the Filipino army in the event of any dispute with the country’s neighbors growing violent.

According to NBC News, the crowd paraded through the streets with several figurines that appeared constructed with the full detail of a parade float. The centerpiece of the protest, however, was a large dog with the face of the President of the Philippines, Benigno Aquino III. Two people who attempted to steal a 30-year-old mother’s purse in a Texas parking lot ended up dragging the woman across said parking lot.

Fortunately, an onlooker who had a weapon concealed on his person saved the mother from both robbery and from potential injury.

This is historic…the establishment and its organs, the MSM (Mainstream Media), which serves only the establishment and is essentially a propaganda machine has been displaced by the citizen journalist with a cell phone camera, a tape recorder and a video camera.  Moreover the order maintenance machine, the police have been curbed by citizen militia.

The citizen journalist now owns the scene on any breaking news story and is able to post real time coverage of events as it happens, raw, unedited to the world over the Internet.  The citizen journalist can dispel stories spun to reflect a particular viewpoint and can show what really happened before information is skewed by the MSM.  The MSM no longer has the ability to demonize, contain, and isolate any particular ethnic, political group or religious organization, which is essential for states to commit democide.   Continue reading “The Rise of the Citizen Journalist”

I want to emphasize what I have said before: We are very close to an Extinction Level Event. We have nuclear power reactors very close to earthquake fault lines that are long over due for major eruptions. We could have 20 Fukushima size meltdowns. We have 2 nuclear power plants near fault lines in California and more than half a dozen in the area near the New Madrid fault line. In 1811-1812 America had 4 major quakes near New Madrid, Missouri. That area is long overdue. The southern California section of the San Andreas fault line has not erupted in over 300 years.
