Christopher Roupe killed by Euharlee police officer (WSB)The Raw Story – by David Edwards

A family in Georgia said this week that a police officer should never have killed 17-year-old Christopher Roupe because he was only holding a video game controller, not a gun as authorities have claimed.

According to WSB-TV, Roupe had been shot to death on Friday when Euharlee officers showed up at his home to serve a probation violation warrant on his father. The officer later told state investigators that she was forced to shoot because Roupe had pointed at gun at her when he opened the door.   Continue reading “Georgia cop fatally shoots teen boy who was holding a Wii video game controller”

They go for the door, but this mom is ready for them with a firearm locked and loaded. New York Daily News – by LEE MORAN

You don’t want to mess with this mom!

A Detroit woman surprised a trio of armed teen thugs when they came to try and rob her house.

Instead of sitting back and watching them steal her stuff, she locked and loaded a rifle — and then fired it as she chased them back outside.   Continue reading “Detroit mom opens fire on three intruders as they try to rob her home”

Zero Hedge – by Tyler Durden

Just as we warned earlier, the stealing of the weapons cache and labeling of the break-away region as having undertaken “terrorist acts” has led to the military getting involved:

Lew Rockwell

Many people believe that they can “beat the case” if the officer doesn’t read them their Miranda rights during an arrest. This is a myth.

The only time an officer must read a person his or her Miranda rights is when: (1) the person has been placed under arrest, AND (2) the officer is about to question the person about a crime. For example, if you’re placed under arrest after consenting to a search request and confessing to ownership of found contraband, police do not need to read you your rights unless they want to question you about an unrelated crime.   Continue reading “Don’t Police have to Read me my Rights?”

Before It’s News – by N. Morgan

This amazing video shows a lady running from a stampede of bunnies! After the young lady gave the bunnies some food, they didn’t want to let her out of their sight, so they followed her. This incredible video is very sweet and adorable! I cannot say I would mind have a bunny stampede following me! Known as Rabbit Island, Okunoshima was used as the secret base for the Japanese Imperial Army’s lethal gas operation during World War Two From 1929 to 1945, more than 6,000 tons of poison gas were manufactured on the remote island, and the program was shrouded in secrecy. For 16 years, Okunoshima was left off maps, and workers who produced the five types of poison gas – which were mostly used in warfare in China – were told to keep the factories a secret.   Continue reading “Attack Of The “Killer” Bunnies? Capital OneMother Nature Network – by Melissa Breyer

As if nagging calls from your credit card issuer weren’t enough, customers who have a Capital One account may find themselves opening their door to representatives from the company. An update to the company’s legal language specifies that, “we may contact you in any manner we choose” and that such contacts can include calls, emails, texts, faxes or a “personal visit,” reports David Lazarus from the Los Angeles Times.

In addition, the visits may be at your home or place of employment. (No mention was made of fine suits and baseball bats.)   Continue reading “Credit card company: We can visit you at home”

Public SchoolsEnd of American Dream – by Michael Snyder

Our children are the future of America, and our public schools are systematically training them to become accustomed to living in a “Big Brother” police state.  All across the United States today, public schools have essentially become “prison grids” that are run by control freaks that are absolutely obsessed with micromanaging the lives of their students down to the smallest detail.  As you will read about below, students all over the country are now being monitored by RFID microchips, their lunches are being inspected on a daily basis by school administrators, and the social media accounts of students are being constantly monitored even when they are at home.  Of course these sorts of things do not happen everywhere just yet, but on the path that we are on it is just a matter of time.  At this point, many of our public schools very closely resemble “totalitarian dictatorships”, and so if the United States ever slips into totalitarianism the students of today will actually feel very comfortable under that political system.   Continue reading “Public Schools Are Preparing America’s Children For Life In A Police State”
