An investigation into the activities of the Houston Police Department is reportedly underway following the release of a video that revealed an officer ordering a woman to put her hands up “like we’re going to shoot you” during a traffic stop involving three additional individuals.
In the video, a police officer officer using a loudspeaker can be heard shouting “Hands up! Put your hands up! Over your head! Pretend like we’re going to shoot you!” at a woman during the encounter. PERRY HALL, Md. – A Baltimore County, Maryland police officer was killed in the line of duty in Perry Hall, Maryland on Monday.
According to Baltimore County Police, around 2 p.m. they received a call for a suspicious vehicle in the unit-block of Linwen Way.
Police say the officer responded to the scene when she encountered a suspect or suspects. Workers marched to McDonald’s new corporate headquarters in downtown Chicago on Monday to protest what they contend is the burger giant’s role in institutionalized poverty, especially among minorities.
Hundreds of McDonald’s workers from across the country traveled to participate in the protest Monday, one of multiple demonstrations planned across the country, according to Fight for $15, a labor campaign supported by the Service Employees International Union. Denver, CO – Community members are horrified after they say police officers conducted a classroom-to-classroom search with guns drawn and interrogated teachers and students in a charter school, all to look for a student who was absent. While the police department released a statement justifying the incident, teachers are claiming that police are lying “to save face.”
“The staff and students were traumatized,” Lucas Ketzer, principal at Rise Up Community School, told the Denver Post as he described the way a group of police officers raided the building in their search for a student who was not in attendance. Kelly Clarkson opened up the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night with a tribute to the eight students and two teachers who died on Friday in the mass shooting at Santa Fe High School in Texas.

Recently, YouTube suddenly shut down the If Americans Knew YouTube channel. This contained 70 videos providing facts-based information about Israel-Palestine.
People going to the channel saw a message telling them that the site had been terminated for “violating YouTube guidelines”—implying to the public that we were guilty of wrongdoing. A koala has been caught patiently waiting for a bite while fishing on the banks of the Murray River in Victoria, Australia.

Children as young as four are being asked by their ‘trans-friendly’ primary school to inform on anyone calling transgender pupils by the ‘wrong’ pronoun.
The policy at Arbury Primary in Cambridge states that it is ‘illegal’ to call someone ‘he/she’ or ‘it’ against their wishes.
