The Senate on Monday passed a bill to extend a ban on guns that can’t be detected by x-ray machines and metal detectors.

President Obama signed the 10-year extension of the Undetectable Firearms Act into law before midnight, using an auto pen as he traveled to Africa for ceremonies honoring the late South African President Nelson Mandela. The device Mr. Obama used to sign the bill has been used for the signatures of traveling presidents since the administration of George W. Bush.   Continue reading “Plastic guns ban extended”

Autism advocates are set to protest tomorrow against a quiet effort by Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s administration to require annual flu vaccinations for all New York City schoolchildren.

On Wednesday, with just three weeks to go until he leaves office, Mr. Bloomberg’s controversial Board of Health is set to vote on new rules that would force children as young as six months old to be immunized each year before December 31 if they attend licensed day care or pre-school programs.   Continue reading “Protest Planned Against Last-Minute Bloomberg Push for Mandatory Flu Vaccines”

SAN ANTONIO, TX (INTELLIHUB) — In today’s day and age, if you don’t obey the police like a good little slave, you may end up getting shot. And that’s just what one young man, Robert Cameron Redus, 23, found out last Friday, after being pulled over by a University of the Incarnate campus police officer.

The horrific event all started when the off-duty campus police officer Christopher Carter pulled Redus over in front of an apartment complex near the school for allegedly driving recklessly about. Redus was a resident at the apartment complex according to reports.   Continue reading “Sarcastic Remark Gets Student Killed by Police on Texas Campus”

MENDELA LOVEFEST GOES ON 3Ingogman – by Phillip Marlowe

OK AMERICA, THIS Nelson Mandela BS has gone far enough. I am so sick and tired of this crap, I am about ready to friggin’ explode! Why don’t we just pay the GD Chinese a boatload of our taxpayer dollars to build a commie heroic-style statue of “Mandiba,”“Mandicka” — or whatever the flock they call him – and put the thing up in Washington DC next to the one of sacred MLK and be done with it?

If Mendela was an Arab muzzie or Palestinian, they would have had Seal Team 6 “double-tap” the guy right in the forehead  — even if he was an old man. Say what, Nazi boy? Yep, Nelson Mandela easily fit the bill for what we call a “terrorist” 24/7 these days. The militant wing of the African National Congress (ANC) under his command killed plenty of innocent people — White, blacks and “colored” (what they call people with Paki or Indian heritage) – by a wide variety of violent ways.   Continue reading “The White-hating Nelson Mendela Lovefest Goes On”

Prison - Photo by Sean MunsonThe American Dream – by Michael Snyder

The “coming persecution of Christians” has already begun.  It is already here.  So why is the mainstream media in the United States almost totally silent about this phenomenon?  When some politician somewhere around the globe inadvertently offends homosexuals or Muslims, it instantly makes headline news.  But very few Americans are even aware that it has been estimated that 100 million Christians are currently facing persecution and that approximately 100,000 Christians die for their faith each year.  As you are about to see, Christians all over the world are being burned alive, beheaded, crucified, tortured to death and imprisoned in metal shipping containers just because of what they believe.  This persecution goes on year after year and it is steadily intensifying.  But the governments of the western world and the mainstream media are almost entirely ignoring what is happening.    Continue reading “Christians Are Being Burned Alive, Beheaded, Crucified, Tortured To Death And Imprisoned In Metal Shipping Containers”

I posted HERE about ‘The Squad – Size & Organization‘. I advocated for a squad size of twelve or thirteen, with three four man teams. This generated a healthy discussion in comments. I am following up with this post in order to give you more depth on the WHY.

There is a method to the squad size and organization that I am advocating. It is not simply an arbitrary number. The three team squad of either 12 or 13 individuals allows a great deal of flexibility in deployment. What I’m effectively giving you is a half platoon size squad that can operate in the assault cycle just like a platoon does.   Continue reading “More on The Squad & the Assault Cycle”

At the Monterey Bay Aquarium, a bat star is suspected of suffering from wasting disease. Photo: Russell Yip, The ChronicleENE News

San Francisco Chronicle, Dec. 9, 2013: A mysterious pathogen is wiping out starfish along the Pacific coast, a potential catastrophe that has flummoxed marine biologists […] [They’re] disappearing from large areas along the coast […] Nobody knows what is causing the die-off, but the killer – most likely some kind of virus, bacteria or pollutant – is widespread and extremely virulent. It has ravaged a variety of starfish species in tide pools and in deeper water along the coast from Mexico to Alaska. […] The disease has spread from the shoreline into deeper water […] The disease has even found its way through the filtration system of the Monterey Bay Aquarium, which uses sea water in its tanks [and] cannot keep out natural impurities. “There is something going on in the water,” [Michael Murray, the director of veterinary services] said.    Continue reading “SF Chronicle: Fukushima radiation possible culprit in huge starfish die off from Mexico to Alaska”

Firefighters battled a blaze in the aftermath of a Nov. 18 tornado in Washington, Illinois. The cast majority of U.S. firefighters are community volunteersDaily Mail – by DAVID MARTOSKO

Volunteer fire departments all across the U.S. could find themselves out of money and unable to operate unless Congress or the Obama Administration exempts them from the Affordable Care Act.

‘I thought the kinks were worked out of Obamacare at the first of the month, Central Florida volunteer firefighter Carl Fabrizi told Sunshine State News.    Continue reading “‘A public safety disaster’: Obamacare could force THOUSANDS of volunteer fire departments to close”

As the saying goes, no two snowflakes are exactly alike. Russian photographer Alexey Kljatov’s collection of high-resolution magnified flakes makes this widely-held belief more convincing. The Moscow-based photographer captured dozens of structurally diverse snowflakes, showcasing the complexity of each one against a dull backdrop. “This year I planned to save current temperature and relative humidity, taken from weather sites with all shooting sessions, but previously I [didn’t] do that.” (Alexey Kljatov)    Continue reading “There is no creation like that from God’s hands”

News Max Health – by Lynn Allison

Every doctor knows that there are two types of top-selling medications: Those that are popular because they are effective and those that sell well because of big drug company marketing campaigns. It is this second kind of medication that doctors avoid taking themselves.

“These drugs can kill more people than they help,” Jacob Teitelbaum, M.D., author of the best-selling book “Real Cause, Real Cure,” tells Newsmax Health.   Continue reading “8 Drugs Doctors Won’t Take”

If you had a business selling something that made you well over a hundred billion dollars per year, would you take steps to eradicate the need for your business? Or would you make every effort for that money continue rolling in?

Take cancer, for example.  Don’t let all the media hype about “The Cure” fool you.  No one who is in a position to do so wants to end cancer because they are all making a killing on the big business of treatment, while ordinary people go broke, suffer horribly, and die.   Continue reading “Making a Killing with Cancer: A 124.6 Billion Dollar Industry”

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Bob Filner was sentenced Monday to three months of home confinement and three years of probation for harassing women while he was mayor of San Diego, completing the fall of the former 10-term congressman who barely a year ago achieved his long dream of being elected leader of the nation’s eighth-largest city.

Over a month old, but Mark Schumacher, who is a trucker, says that the port is still shut down.

Mercury News – by Matt O’Brien, 10/21/2013

OAKLAND — A group of truck drivers halted commerce at one of the Port of Oakland’s biggest terminals Monday to protest work conditions and the rising costs of hauling cargo out of the busy seaport.

Truckers and their supporters picketed outside three entrances to the SSA Marine terminal and effectively shut down cargo traffic because crane operators and other terminal workers refused to cross the protest line. About 100 ralliers gathered before dawn. By 9 a.m., the company that runs the terminal informed the port that it was closing down.   Continue reading “Oakland port truckers shut down terminal to protest work conditions, rising costs”

KIEV, Ukraine (AP) — Heavily armed riot troops broke into the offices of a top Ukrainian opposition party office in Kiev and seized its servers Monday, the party said, as anti-government protests crippled the capital for yet another day.

Elsewhere police dismantled or blocked off several small protest tent camps that near key national government buildings in the city. Tensions also rose as a double cordon of helmeted, shield-holding police deployed in the street near Kiev’s city administration building, which demonstrators had occupied and turned into a makeshift command post and dormitory.   Continue reading “Riot police storm opposition offices in Ukraine”
