Breitbart – by AWR Hawkins

As former U.S. Rep. Gabby Giffords rehearsed the pro-gun control speech she will be delivering in various settings this fall, she stated that the gun violence she endured means “opportunity.”

According to USA Today, Giffords made this assertion in response to a question about her ongoing public push for more gun control via universal background checks, new regulations for gun shows, and more rules for online gun sales.   Continue reading “Gabby Giffords: Being Victim of Gun Violence Means ‘Opportunity’”

Immigration Overload SchoolsABC News

American schools are scrambling to provide services to the large number of children and teenagers who crossed the border alone in recent months.

Unaccompanied minors who made up the summer spike at the border have moved to communities of all sizes, in nearly every state, Federal data indicates, to live with a relative and await immigration decisions. The Supreme Court has ruled that schools have an obligation to educate all students regardless of their immigration status, so schools have become a safe haven for many of the tens of thousands of these young people mostly from central America living in limbo.   Continue reading “Schools Scramble to Help Teens Who Crossed Border”

Town Hall – by Katie Pavlich

Earlier this summer when the unaccompanied minor crisis was at its peak (after really starting in October 2013) in Texas and Arizona, Border Patrol agents working inside processing facilities reported cases of Tuberculosis, scabies and other diseases being brought into the United States by unvaccinated illegal aliens. Warnings were issued by local communities about the impact these diseases could potentially have in the public school system where their children are educated. For example, protesters in Murrieta, California turned bus loads of illegal immigrants away, citing concerns about public health. Those protesters and people who warned about the spread of disease were accused of fear mongering and exaggeration.    Continue reading “Surprise: After Illegal Immigration Wave, Tuberculosis Plagues El Paso Hospital”

White House Dossier – by Keith Koffler

And, uniquely in the savagery of warfare – WAR CRIMES AGAINST THEIR OWN PEOPLE.

There is no denying it. Except in the White House and at Foggy Bottom, where President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry companied repeatedly about Palestinian deaths with the clear suggestion that Israel was at least partially to blame for them.   Continue reading “Netanyahu: Palestinians Guilty of War Crimes”

The man who jumped the White House fence this month and sprinted through the front door made it much farther into the building than previously known, overpowering one Secret Service officer and running through much of the main floor, according to three people familiar with the incident.

An alarm box near the front entrance of the White House designed to alert guards to an intruder had been muted at what officers believed was a request of the usher’s office, said a Secret Service official who spoke on the condition of anonymity.   Continue reading “White House fence-jumper made it far deeper into building than previously known”

Refugee Resettlement Watch – by Ann Cocoran

Why is this in our national interest?

This is insane!  Illegal aliens (mostly Somalis) arrive on the island nation of Malta and we transform them into legitimate refugees and fly them to America!

We have been following this perversion of the refugee program for years (longer than the 5 years mentioned in this short article—the Bush Administration started this!).  These illegal migrants are the European Union’s problem, not ours!   Continue reading “US agrees to take MORE of Malta’s illegal aliens!”

Should the company that supplies your Internet access be allowed to cut deals with online services such as Netflix, Amazon or YouTube to move their content faster?

So, ok…if the United States really is producing more petroleum than Saudi Arabia, why then is gas still stuck at $3.30 per gallon on average nationwide? You would think that at the very least it would drop down to around $1.84 that is was in 2008, when Obama became president. Oh wait, I just answered my question. Never mind.

But before you start jumping up and down for joy that America is the world’s #1 petroleum producer, look at how much people in these countries are paying per gallon:   Continue reading “United States to be the #1 Producer of Petroleum in the World”

US air strikes are failing to drive back Isis in Iraq where its forces are still within an hour’s drive of Baghdad.

Three and a half months since the Iraqi army was spectacularly routed in northern Iraq by a far inferior force of Isis fighters, it is still seeing bases overrun because it fails to supply them with ammunition, food and water. The selection of a new Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, to replace Nouri al-Maliki last month was supposed to introduce a more conciliatory government that would appeal to Iraq’s Sunni minority from which Isis draws its support.   Continue reading “Isis an hour away from Baghdad – with no sign of Iraq army being able to make a successful counter-attack”

Oil Price – by Andy Tully

One of the biggest concerns about hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, is that the vast amount of wastewater produced by the process of extracting oil and gas from shale rock deep underground is incredibly toxic.

Most often, the wastewater is injected into disposal wells deep underground. But a process does exist to convert contaminated water into drinking water that involves running it through wastewater treatment plants and into rivers.   Continue reading “Study Finds Treated Fracking Wastewater Still Too Toxic”

Infowars – by Adan Salazar

Police in Louisiana are urging residents to add surveillance camera security systems to their homes and then to hand over control of those systems to law enforcement, an effort they claim will help make neighborhoods safer.

Part of a sprawling surveillance strategy dubbed “Project NOLA,” citizens’ security cameras would be integrated with footage shot from other law enforcement cameras already installed around the St. Bernard Parish area near New Orleans, and would give the sheriff’s department the ability to tap into those cameras at a moment’s notice.   Continue reading “Police Urge Residents to Outfit Homes with Police-Run Surveillance Cameras”

High-Fructose-Corn-SyrupWake Up World – by Dr. Edward F. Group

High-fructose corn syrup, or HFCS for short, is a man-made sweetener commonly used in processed foods. It’s included in many foods that one would least suspect, like bread, crackers, pasta sauces, and even pickles. Groups like the Corn Refiner’s Association and companies dependent on High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) continue to market it as a safe, almost “natural” product. The truth is becoming increasingly clear, however, with studies showing the immense health issues that arise from its long-term consumption. Considering that the the majority of people today consume a diet primarily based on processed foods, it’s somewhat challenging for most people to eat it in moderation.   Continue reading “High Fructose Corn Syrup Linked to Kidney Stones: 5 Facts to Know”
