Clashes broke out at an anti-fascist rally in Cremona, Italy when around 2,000 protesters took to the streets to object to an attack by far-right group supporters. The fracas left a political activist in hospital.

A couple of thousand anti-fascist protesters attended the rally on Saturday, which started off peacefully. The protesters marched through the city center chanting slogans and waving banners to draw awareness to the plight of anti-fascist activist Emilio Visigalli, who is currently in hospital in a serious condition, following last week’s attack by the far-right group CasaPound. He was injured when the event organized by the CSA Dordoni cultural center was attacked on January 18 by dozens of neo-Nazi supporters.   Continue reading “Boiling point: Hundreds of anti-fascist protesters clash with police in Italy”

NEW YORK (AP) — A major snowstorm with blizzard-like conditions could drop a foot or more of snow across most parts of the Northeast as they gear up for the workweek right after the first real storm of the winter hit them with rain, several inches of snow and messy slush.

A storm system diving out of the Midwest has the potential to slowly coat from Philadelphia up to Massachusetts and Maine with snow beginning late Sunday night into Monday and intensifying greatly well into Tuesday, the National Weather Service said.   Continue reading “Blizzard-like conditions possible in Northeast’s next storm”

Cordyceps burst into the media spotlight in 1993 when a team of Chinese women’s track and field runners broke nine world records at the Chinese National Games in Beijing. Initially, the Chinese team was suspected of using steroids. After testing negatively for anabolic steroid use, the team’s coach revealed that the success of the Chinese athletes was not drug related but was instead the result of a daily Cordyceps elixir, which significantly boosts the body’s energy, endurance, stamina and overall vitality. This highly publicized episode launched the widespread use of Cordyceps by the World’s top athletes.   Continue reading “This Potent Herb Heals COPD, Adrenal Fatigue, Cancer, Immune Dysfunction and More”

BOWLING GREEN, OH – The average planning and zoning meeting consists of the planning and zoning commissioners, a room, and very little else. They are often dry meetings dealing with rules and regulations for business and home licensing, property lines, and nuisance ordinances.

So when the Borough of Kodiak, AK (Pop. 13,600) chose to attempt to entirely revamp the zoning code and place greater restrictions on property owners, including a $1,000 fine per violation, they expected there to be little opposition, and little knowledge of the change.   Continue reading “VICTORY: Over 300 People Stand up to Agenda 21 in Alaska”

Cover Gunfight Video 4AmmoLand – by Dean Weingarten

Arizona – -(Ammoland.com)-
Many people do not think much about the use of cover in self defense.  This is a mistake.   Much of the time, if and when you have to defend yourself, cover will be available and should be used.  Cover protects you from bullets and other weapons, or from access by the aggressor.   As the objective is to escape unharmed, rather than to damage or kill the aggressor, taking cover is usually a higher priority than shooting back.   Continue reading “Store Owner Shows use of Cover in Gunfight Video”

The closure was in Jackson’s mind for months, he said. He closed the Scottsville location on Jan. 1, and the Henrietta location on Jan. 17.   Continue reading “Jackson gun shop closes amid regulation trouble”

The following post is via the NRA-ILA.

U.S. Rep. Morgan Griffith (R-Va.) recently introduced H.R. 131, a bill that would more comprehensively address the interstate transportation of firearms and ammunition for law-abiding gun owners.

Current federal law guarantees the right of law-abiding persons to transport firearms between two locations where they have a legal right to possess and carry them, regardless of state or local laws that would otherwise apply. The firearm must be cased or otherwise not readily accessible.   Continue reading “Federal Interstate Transportation of Firearms and Ammunition Bill Introduced”

INSURGE INTELLIGENCE, a new crowd-funded investigative journalism project, breaks the exclusive story of how the United States intelligence community funded, nurtured and incubated Google as part of a drive to dominate the world through control of information. Seed-funded by the NSA and CIA, Google was merely the first among a plethora of private sector start-ups co-opted by US intelligence to retain ‘information superiority.’
