Charles Manson’s fiancée wanted to marry him for his corpse: sourceNew York Post – by Bill Sanderson

This plot was too crazy even for Charles Manson.

Manson’s engagement to a woman 53 years his junior was part of a wild scheme of hers to profit by putting his body on public display after his death, says the author of an upcoming book.

Manson’s fiancée, 27-year-old Afton Elaine Burton, known as Star, sought to wed the convicted mastermind of the Sharon Tate murder and eight other slayings so that she could gain possession of his corpse, according to journalist Daniel Simone.   Continue reading “Charles Manson’s fiancée wanted to marry him for his corpse: source”

President Barack Obama released his federal budget this week to much publicity, analysis and politicking. But before the federal budget was the release of the State Department’s annual Fiscal Transparency Report, a document that analyzes budget transparency of governments that receive U.S. assistance – and reveals that certain countries still receive aid from the U.S. even though they don’t meet fiscal transparency requirements.

A provision in the Appropriations Bill requires the State Department to produce the report examining all 140 countries that were potential recipients of bilateral allocations in fiscal 2014. The report, quietly released Jan. 14, rated them based upon transparency of budget information and natural resource extraction contracting and licensing.   Continue reading “State Department quietly releases fiscal transparency report”

By and large, the majority of the population has deluded themselves into believing a bright future is upon the horizon. For years, economic forecasters and preppers alike have warned of the bottom dropping out of the economy. The proverbial doom prediction of “it’s not if, but when” is not just a phrase to add dramatic effect, it is a call to action. It’s a warning that the American dream is about to drastically change and that it is time to prepare accordingly.   Continue reading “End of an Era: Prospects Look Bleak For Slowing the Coming Food Crisis”

Freedom Outpost – by Tim Brown

The same senator who admitted lying to Sandy Hook families to get them to come to Washington in order to have them lobby for votes on unconstitutional gun confiscation legislation, is now claiming that if you want a high-capacity magazine for your gun, then you must be “arming against the government.”

Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT), a virtually unknown senator until the Sandy Hook incident, has conspired with gun grabbing senators Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) and Robert Menendez (D-NJ) to co-sponsor Rep. Elizabeth Esty’s (D-CT) unconstitutional bill that would limit magazine capacity to only 10 rounds across the nation. This seems to be right in line with the Sandy Hook Commission, whose recommendations for Connecticut were completely without thought to the Constitution.   Continue reading “Connecticut Senator: Anyone Wanting a High-Capacity Magazine is “Arming Against the Government””

In the face of an uncertain future, it appears that more Americans than ever are keeping at least some of their savings in the form of cash. And among those who have cash savings, more than half are choosing not to store their finances in bank vaults or safety deposit boxes, but rather in secret locations around the home.

At least that’s the case according to a recent survey conducted by American Express, which found that 29 percent of Americans are now saving cash and coins, and that 53 percent of those who do are opting to stash it in safes or other hiding places in their homes.   Continue reading “Americans take to hiding cash as trust in government and banks deteriorate”

A New Jersey high school girl has finally won a hard fought battle to protect her right to say “under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance.

A judge Friday dismissed a liberal, atheist group’s attempt to strip “under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance after a family objected to their daughter’s school endorsing the practice.

“I’m so grateful the court decided that kids like me shouldn’t be silenced just because some people object to timeless American values,” Samantha Jones, a senior at Highland Regional High School, said in a statement.   Continue reading “Atheist Assault On Pledge Of Allegiance Silenced By High School Girl”

HAARP2Geoengineering Watch – by Dean Wigington

In the spring of 2014, the power structure and mainstream media tried to convince an ever more concerned population that there was no climate modification going on and as proof they cited the claim that the HAARP facility was going to be “bulldozed”.

Some of us never bought into the smoke and mirrors about HAARP being torn down, and as we now see, it is still standing.   Continue reading “HAARP Still Stands, Geoengineers Still Wreaking Havoc”

Israeli's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (Reuters / Sebastian Scheiner / Pool)RT

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu is determined to deliver an Iran-blasting speech before US legislators despite sparking partisan rivalry in America. Critics accuse him of rising ties with the USA to score more votes at an upcoming election.

Netanyahu was invited to speak before the US Congress on March 3 by Republican House Speaker John Boehner in a move that sparked outrage in the Democrat camp. Boehner didn’t consult with White House before inviting the foreign leader, who intends to argue against a US deal with Iran on its controversial nuclear program. The Democrats view it as breach of protocol and an attempt to sideline the Obama Administration, which learned of the upcoming speech shortly before its public announcement.   Continue reading “‘Elections, not Iran’: Israeli PM accused of vote-scoring, risking US ties at Congress speech”

CAIRO (AP) — The killing of more than 20 soccer fans outside a Cairo stadium in a melee with security forces has revived scrutiny of police tactics in Egypt less than a month after a woman was shot dead during the dispersal of a peaceful protest marking the anniversary of the 2011 uprising.

The violence late Sunday, which prompted the Cabinet to suspend the national football league indefinitely, dealt a further blow to the military-backed government’s attempt to project an image of stability after four years of political turmoil. Three years ago, Egypt witnessed one of the deadliest soccer riots in the sport’s history.   Continue reading “Egypt soccer violence revives scrutiny of police”
