The Memphis city council has hurriedly renamed three Confederate-themed parks, including one named after the first Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, to head off an effort by some state legislators to block such name changes.
The council on Tuesday passed a resolution to immediately rename Confederate Park and Jefferson Davis Park in downtown Memphis and Nathan Bedford Forrest Park, which lies just a few miles away. The vote was 9-0 with three members abstaining. Continue reading “Memphis changes names of 3 Confederate-themed parks”

On Friday evening, the White House was glowing with pride.
The Obama administration bathed the north side of the executive mansion in rainbow-colored light to celebrate the Supreme Court’s Friday ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges, which guaranteed a constitutional right to same-sex marriage across America. Continue reading “White House set aglow with rainbow pride”

In his dissent from the Supreme Court’s 5-4 decision in Obergefell v. Hodges, which declared that same-sex marriage was a right, Justice Antonin Scalia declared that this Supreme Court has become a “threat to American democracy.
“I write separately to call attention to this Court’s threat to American democracy,” Scalia said. Continue reading “Scalia: ‘This Court’ is a ‘Threat to American Democracy’”
In the wake of Thursday’s King v. Burwell Supreme Court decision upholding Obamacare, at least one attorney who has argued cases before the court is calling for the justices who filed the majority opinion to be impeached.
All six of them need to go, says Larry Klayman, founder of Freedom Watch.
All six are guilty of abandoning the rule of law, says the longtime government watchdog. In its place they have substituted the advancement of their own political agendas. Continue reading “Watchdog lawyer says 6 supremes must be impeached”
A very long time ago I promised to issue a Silver Buy flash. I will never recommend buying silver on a credit card but we are running out of time to prepare for the End Game. I am not recommending that you buy silver at the expense of other things you need. And I must remind you that I am not a financial expert.
I saw this video below and decided to share it. It is that important. As the video explains, we are very close to a collapse of the COMEX silver pricing mechanism. Open Interest is the number of contracts to deliver silver that exist at the beginning of business on that day at the COMEX. It is about 20% more than the amount of silver produced by miners in an entire year. Continue reading “Vidrebel: Silver Update”

Both historically and geographically, Israel remains the migrant cuckoo in an indigenous Arab Muslim nest. Its claimed parentage being based on many tenuous stories of hearsay; embellished and altered by hundreds of self-styled prophets, scribes, politicians, commentators and ideologues over many hundreds of years to reflect their own religious persuasions and personal views on the world in general. It is, in very many parts, a harrowing tale of extreme violence, envy, idolatry, adultery, theft and human failings – which is probably why it has remained on the best-reading list for so long. We all remember how, in early June, President Putin announced that Russia would deploy more than 40 new ICBMs “able to overcome even the most technically advanced anti-missile defense systems.”
Oh dear; the Pentagon and their European minions have been freaking out on overdrive ever since. Continue reading “The Pentagon goes nuclear on Russia”

This article published by Global Research in 2002 focusses on the role of nuclear war as a means to enforcing a coercive and extremist US foreign policy agenda. It also points to the dangers of a first strike nuclear attack by the US directed against non-nuclear states as formulated in the 2001 Nuclear Posture Review.
“Not since the dawn of the nuclear age at the end of World War II has the danger of nuclear war been greater.”1 – Richard Falk Continue reading “Nuclear Nightmare Redux. U.S. “First Strike” Nuclear Attacks. “Three Minutes to Midnight””
Office of the Governor Greg Abbott
Governor Greg Abbott today released the following statement regarding the Supreme Court’s same-sex marriage ruling:
“The Supreme Court has abandoned its role as an impartial judicial arbiter and has become an unelected nine-member legislature. Five Justices on the Supreme Court have imposed on the entire country their personal views on an issue that the Constitution and the Court’s previous decisions reserve to the people of the States. The Department of Homeland Security and the FBI were warning law enforcement Friday about the possibility of terrorist threats around the 4th of July, unnamed authorities told CNN Friday. Officials circulated a joint intelligence bulletin that does not discuss “any known active threats,” but does sound the alert about the potential for “heightened threats,” CNN reported.
Separately, DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson issued a public statement, expressing support for victims of the terrorist attacks that struck France, Tunisia, and Kuwait on Friday, while also urging vigilance in the U.S. “Particularly with the upcoming July 4th holiday, here in the United States the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI continue to communicate with state and local law enforcement about what we know and see,” Johnson stated. “We are encouraging all law enforcement to be vigilant and prepared.” Continue reading “July 4th False Flag Attack Warning?”

Beyond the Confederate flag: Five more racially insensitive things that need to go away
This could get out of hand.
As outrage over the Confederate Battle flag’s display grows around the nation and online, politicians and business leaders are joining the chorus of people condemning arguably racist Civil War-era memorabilia. Continue reading “The Raping Of Our Culture As Bans Are Getting Out Of Hand”

A joint meeting of senior representatives in the Defense Ministry, Foreign Ministry and Prime Minister’s Office resulted in the decision to temporarily suspend dialogue with the United States regarding defense aid to the Jewish state. The freeze will remain in place until the conclusion of talks between Iran and P5+1 world powers on Tehran’s nuclear program, if not later.
The main reason for suspending the dialogue, officials told Walla! News, is the mounting tension between the White House and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s government. Continue reading “Israel Freezes Defense Aid Talks with US Pending Iran Deal”

Not long after the Sandy Hook shooting in 2012, the gun grabbers crawled out of the woodwork, demanding new legislation to hinder gun ownership for millions of law-abiding Americans (as they are wont to do after every mass shooting). One of the measures that managed to be signed into law as a result of these bleating cries, was the NY SAFE Act, which restricts magazine capacities, demands background checks for ammunition, and forces gun owners to register their “assault rifles,” which are broadly defined. These are a just a few of the draconian demands found in the SAFE Act. Continue reading “Vast Majority of NY Gun Owners Refuse to Comply with SAFE Act”

I’m sure many of you remember the death of James Boyd. He was the mentally ill homeless man who was killed by Albuquerque police officers Kieth Sandy and Dominique Perez, back in March of 2014. You may also recall the graphic video of his death, as well as the incriminating recording of comments made by Kieth Sandy before the confrontation, both of which make it clear that James Boyd was murdered by these officers.
For the longest time it seemed like these officers would never face justice for what they did, but that may be about to change. Prosecutor Randi McGinn announced on Monday that she intends to charge the two officers with second-degree murder, voluntary manslaughter, and aggravated battery. The prosecution will lay out their evidence to a judge in August, who will decide if Perez and Sandy should be taken to court.
