The Truth About the Law – by Legalman

The feds have seized, virtual total control, over every aspect of our lives via the 14th amendment’s “due process” clause. They have concocted a never ending series of “duties and rights” to “justify federal control” based upon that amendment. So I think it is only fair to ask a simple question.

WAS THE 14TH AMENDMENT LEGITIMATELY RATIFIED?    Continue reading “It’s time to tell the truth; the 14th amendment was never ratified.”

For 6 months, Holly O’Donnell’s job was to identify pregnant women at Planned Parenthood who met criteria for fetal tissue orders and to harvest the fetal body parts after their abortions.

As if the first two videos involving fetal organ harvesting and haggling over price weren’t vile enough, yet another video has gone public from the Center For Medical Progress. This one looks to be the first of a new angle on the series, entitled “Human Capital. Episode 1: Planned Parenthood’s Black Market In Baby Parts“, and it takes on more of a documentary type of feel.   Continue reading “THIRD Planned Parenthood Undercover Video Released”

Each year thousands of lives are lost as the result of drunk driving related car accidents. It’s a heart wrenching statistic and even more painful considering that drunk driving is preventable.

New York congresswoman Kathleen Rice is working to further drunk driving prevention and announced on July 14 that she will introduce legislation that could mandate US automakers to equip all new cars with alcohol breath-testing units. These breathalyzers, known as ignition interlock devices, monitor a driver’s blood alcohol content (BAC) and will prevent a car’s engine from starting if that BAC level surpasses a predetermined or legal limit.   Continue reading “New Drunk Driving Legislation Could Require Breathalyzers in All New Cars”

The next paper cut on their way to a thousand is being dubbed the “gun range loophole” and it exploits Chris Kyle, propagated, of course, by one of Bloomberg’s shill operations.

The Trace is Bloomberg’s “journalism” site, and it opened with a giant, yet eerily silent, THUD when it launched last month. Even his other shill operations, such as Moms Demand Action, rarely share or link to anything on it. In fact, website tracker Alexa doesn’t rank it high enough to warrant keeping track of the hits, and Quantcast doesn’t have any info for the site.   Continue reading “Get Ready For “Gun Range Loophole””

Dubbed as “illegal gambling” by the Indiana Gaming Commission, the Delaware County Senior Citizens Center has been forced to shut down it’s regular card games.

The Muncie, Indiana based center has been hosting card nights for several decades. The games include euchre, poker, and bridge, in addition to bingo. Because there is a $2.50 buy in and meager prizes are won, such as fruit or cookies, it qualifies as gambling and is illegal.   Continue reading “Senior Center Card Game Night Shut Down By State”

One Sheriff hospitalized, several more on high alert after suspicious envelopes with white powder were discovered in mail.

Glenn Palmer, Sheriff of Grant County and outspoken gun rights supporter, has been hospitalized after rash developed on his skin after opening an envelope filled with white powder. Several other pro gun Sheriffs received similar envelopes in the mail, but so far none of them others developed strange symptoms. Coincidence?   Continue reading “Pro Gun Sheriffs Hit With White Powder Envelopes”

Last week, we wrote about the fact that the State of Georgia is suing Carl Malamud for posting PDFs of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, and sending them around. I’ve been discussing this with a number of lawyers and other experts over the weekend and have to say that I made a significant error in the original post, which I apologize for. I said that courts frequently rely on the annotations of the law, thus effectively making them a part of the law. This was wrong and it was poor reporting on my part based on incomplete understanding of the situation. Having discussed this with multiple people and checked into it further myself, I really regret the error and will be adding a link to this story as soon as it is published. I was told otherwise originally, but that’s no excuse. I should have checked it out and I did not.    Continue reading “Even If The State Of Georgia Can Copyright Legal Annotations, Should It?”

Surgery would not exist…except for rapid awake saw amputations as in the Civil War (Southern States Rights) Era, if anesthesia had not been perfected.

When a person has holes in them from any type of trauma…stabbing, GSW, broken bones sticking out akimbo…fractured pelvises, skulls, femurs, ribs with collapsed lungs, etc., nobody “gives a shit” about “alternative” medicine. Plugging the holes ASAP, fixing the fractures, opening blocked vascular passages is the ONLY possibility for survival. And I guarantee that you do NOT want that done if I (or someone with my skills) is not there.   Continue reading “Like all in the world…allopathic medicine has its place!”

About 6 a.m. on July 10, Ekaterina Juskowski was shooting a video of her friend, a model, near 36th Street in the heart of Miami Beach.

With Illinois Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner and public sector unions unable to come to a labor agreement, some fear the National Guard might be deployed if state workers strike.

“It’s a terribly impractical and, in my opinion, inadvisable idea,” Republican state Rep. David Harris told The Southern Illinoisan. “You’re going to replace paper-pushers — with all due respect to bureaucrats — with people who carry M-16s and .45 pistols?”   Continue reading “Illinois On The Edge: Rauner Might Use National Guard If State Workers Strike”

More than a quarter million sockeye salmon returning from the ocean to spawn are either dead or dying in the Columbia River and its tributaries due to warming water temperatures.

Federal and state fisheries biologists say the warm water is lethal for the cold-water species and is wiping out at least half of this year’s return of 500,000 fish.   Continue reading “Half of Columbia River Sockeye Salmon Dying Due to Hot Water”

In a stunning ruling, US safety regulators have mandated that Fiat Chrysler must offer to buy back from customers more than 500,000 Ram pickup trucks and other vehicles as part of a costly deal with safety regulators to settle legal problems in about two dozen recalls. As WTOP reports, this is the biggest such action in US history, and is in addition to a $105 million civil fine and owners of more than a million older Jeeps with vulnerable rear-mounted gas tanks will be able to trade them in or be paid by Chrysler to have the vehicles repaired. Think the punishment is harsh, consider that at least 75 people have died in crash-related fires, although Fiat Chrysler maintains they are as safe as comparable vehicles from the same era.   Continue reading “Fiat Chrysler Forced To Buy Back 500,000 Pickup Trucks From Customers In Historic Settlement”
