General Electric plans move 500 American jobs overseas, the company announced Tuesday, citing the expiration of the U.S. Export-Import Bank earlier this summer. GE says the jobs will be moving to France, Hungary and China. France will take 400 of them, and China and Hungary will split the remaining 100. Texas, South Carolina, Maine, and New York will all see job losses.

The Ex-Im Bank helps U.S. companies finance the sale of their products overseas. It is supported by President Barack Obama, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and mainstream factions in both parties. But it faces opposition from some conservative Republicans and tea party groups. As a result, Congress failed to reauthorize it, sparking widespread frustration among American corporations that are active overseas.   Continue reading “General Electric To Ship 500 Jobs Overseas, Citing Expiration Of Export-Import Bank”

Supporters of genetically modified or engineered foods want you to believe that the concept is no big deal and that humans have been cross-breeding and “modifying” food for centuries.

In reality, however, GMO seeds and foods created in a lab are far different than the traditional hybrid crop. In fact, the latter has only been in existence for a few decades.   Continue reading “Rare film clip shows George H. W. Bush plotting with Monsanto to use US government to spread GMO imperialism”

Jerome Arps, 58, began his sickening obsession with forcing himself on women as a teenager when he participated in the gang raping of a 14-year-old girl. Decades later, in 2006, after multiple other rapes, this monster’s addiction to forced sex was so compelling that he grabbed a woman in front of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine and publicly raped her on the church’s steps.

One would think that in today’s society, such a vile serial rapist like Arps would never see the light of day after being apprehended. However, one would be wrong.   Continue reading “Violent Rapists Set Free as the State Makes Room in Prisons for “Evil” Drug Users”

The dual peril of unfettered migration into Europe and the United States has a different complexion of invaders, but both suffer an appalling economic aftermath. However, the flood gates from the Middle East and Africa “so called” refugees are destined to overcome and hasten the breakup of the European Union. Just note the impact from not defending the borders of Europe, both placing terminal pressure on the economies and finances of EU countries, but also from the social dissolution of Western societies.   Continue reading “Economic Consequences from Refugee Invasion”

Texas already seceded once — in 1861, by popular vote in a statewide election.

But the Texas Nationalist Movement wants a repeat a century and a half later, and thinks the March GOP primary is the place to start.

The Nederland-based Texas independence group is circulating a petition aimed at getting a non-binding vote onto the GOP primary ballot over whether “the state of Texas should reassert its status as an independent nation.”   Continue reading “Should Texas secede? Question may appear on Republican primary ballot”

The owners of an dairy are dumping hundreds of gallons of skim milk down the drain because of a state order to label their all-natural product “imitation.”

Under Florida state rules, the only way the Ocheesee Creamery can market its product as skim milk would be to inject it with artificial Vitamin A – and thus avoid the imitation label. The owners of the creamery have sued the state and are being represented by the Institute for Justice.   Continue reading “Florida orders dairy to mislabel all-natural skim milk with “imitation” label to mislead consumers”

On August 25th, the first meeting of nations regarding the controversial UN Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) wrapped up in Cancun. The ATT was ratified by all nations in attendance except the United States, as the Senate has made clear that the U. S., far from being a party to this treaty, would not participate and would not ratify it.

Yet President Barack Obama sent representatives to participate anyway.   Continue reading “Kansas Senator Jerry Moran Blasts Obama on Cancun Gun Control Conference”

Kicking off a busy week of campaigning, Republican frontrunner Donald Trump Monday got a sizeable crowd at Dallas’ American Airlines Center riled up over hot-button issues that he says anger conservative voters.

Trump received the most applause for his position on illegal immigration, which many voters in the crowd say the federal government is handling poorly. “It’s a massive problem we have to stop illegal immigration,” he explained. “It’s disgusting what is happening to our country, we are a dumping ground for the rest of the world.”   Continue reading “Trump riles up conservative crowd over illegal immigration, sanctuary cities”

“An agent of influence is an agent of some stature who uses his or her position to influence public opinion or decision making to produce results beneficial to the country whose intelligence service operates the agent.” So goes the book definition but any experienced intelligence officer will note that there are degrees of cooperation and direction in such a relationship. The agent might be fully controlled and on a salary or he or she might be very loosely guided, ideologically motivated but cautious and reluctant to receive any favors in return. The key is that the agent has to be acting on behalf of the interests of the foreign government, which will at least some of the time mean working directly against the interests of his own.   Continue reading “Israel’s Agent of Influence”

PYONGYANG, North Korea (AP) — With a big anniversary drawing near, North Korea declared Tuesday it has upgraded and restarted all of its atomic fuel plants — meaning it could possibly make more, and more sophisticated, nuclear weapons.

The statement, coming just a day after it said it is ready to conduct more rocket launches any time it sees fit, has heightened concerns the North may soon either conduct a launch — which Washington and its allies see as a pretext for testing missile technology — or hold another test of nuclear weapons that it could conceivably place on such a rocket.   Continue reading “NKorea warns it has restarted all nuclear bomb fuel plants”

LA PLATA, Md. (AP) — The facts are hard to fathom: a mother alone with her 3-year-old son in a playground for two days straight, pushing him in a swing until he died of dehydration and low body temperature; pushing him even after he died until finally sheriff’s deputies came to investigate.

To Vontasha Simms, whose daughter Romechia Simms is now charged with manslaughter, the facts are a clear indication that Romechia Simms was suffering from mental illness so severe that a criminal prosecution is misplaced.   Continue reading “Mom found with dead son in playground swing indicted”

On December 18, 2014, President Obama signed an executive order creating the President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing. In May 2015, the task force came out with its Final Report, which is commonly given the title “21st Century Policing.”

One of the report’s recommendations, which the Obama-friendly media fixated on, concerns greater restrictions on transfers of military equipment to local police agencies. However, as we reported in a related article (“What’s Happening to Our Police?“), the new “accountability” rules will not explicitly reduce the flow of war materials to law enforcement, but simply place more federal controls over local police. Moreover, the new Obama rules regarding military gear were just one component of a broader set of recommendations issued by Obama’s plan for “21st Century Policing” — the overarching theme of which was promoting increased federal control over law enforcement.   Continue reading “Obama and Allies Seek to Nationalize Local Police”

A Denver deputy filmed violently attacking a shackled and handcuffed inmate without provocation has escaped justice after District Court Chief Judge Michael Martinez ruled Friday that the officer should have been charged, but because the statute of limitations has expired, no special prosecutor can be called in.

Interestingly, the hearing occurred the day that the limitations statute expired, exactly three years after the September 11, 2012 incident in which deputy Brady Lovingier grabbed Anthony Waller and slammed him into a wall during court proceedings.   Continue reading “Deputy Filmed Attacking Shackled Inmate In Court Room Escapes Justice”
