A co-worker of one of two sheriff’s deputies who killed Idaho rancher Jack Yantis last November told state investigators in January that he thought the deputy’s behavior and mental state two months after the shooting threatened his and others’ safety.

Adams County Sheriff’s Lt. Steve Phillips told Idaho State Police detectives that he was frightened by Deputy Brian Wood’s comments, actions and expert marksmanship, and that he feared for his life and his family’s. Phillips, a seasoned law enforcement officer, said he ultimately left both his job and Adams County to distance himself from Wood.   Continue reading “Co-worker said he felt threatened by deputy’s behavior after rancher was killed”

The native American Indian population is disavowing any ties and pushing away any help the Anonymous hacker collective is trying to provide as part of protests against the construction of the Dakota Access pipeline.

Several American Indian communities, led by members of the Standing Rock Sioux tribe, have gathered outside Cannon Ball, a town in North Dakota, near a construction site where preparatory work is being carried out for Dakota Access, a 1,170-mile oil pipeline that links North Dakota oil fields with other Illinois pipelines.   Continue reading “Anonymous Not Welcome in Dakota Access Pipeline Protests”

Her view is shared by the American College of Pediatricians.

Don and Jonna Bradway recently cashed out of the stock market and invested in gold and silver. They have stockpiled food and ammunition in the event of a total economic collapse or some other calamity commonly known around here as “The End of the World As We Know It” or “SHTF” — the day something hits the fan.

The Bradways fled California, a state they said is run by “leftists and non-Constitutionalists and anti-freedom people,” and settled on several wooded acres of north Idaho five years ago. They live among like-minded conservative neighbors, host Monday night Bible study around their fire pit, hike in the mountains and fish from their boat. They melt lead to make their own bullets for sport shooting and hunting — or to defend themselves against marauders in a world-ending cataclysm.   Continue reading “A Fortress Against Fear: In the rural Pacific Northwest, prepping for the day it hits the fan”

Partners in Crime: The Clintons’ Scheme to Monetize the White House for Personal Profit, by Dr. Jerome R. Corsi, Washington, D.C.: WND Books, 2016, 320 pages, hardcover.

By now, almost everybody, even Clinton supporters, realizes that the prominent political couple is a shady duo. But the reality is much, much worse than that. The Clinton family and its scandal-plagued “foundation” are basically a gigantic criminal enterprise through which the Clintons and their cronies enrich themselves, sell political favors, and sell out America — all while ripping off taxpayers in the United States and around the world. If participants in this “vast criminal conspiracy” are not brought to justice, the Clintons intend to expand their criminal operation and run it from the White House, putting all Americans at risk. So justice must be served — and it can be.   Continue reading “New Book “Partners in Crime” Exposes Clinton Crime Family”

Jeff Bezos’ Editorial Board at the Washington Post is complaining that there aren’t enough Americans who want to work low-end jobs, so the government needs to import more foreign replacements.

“Typically the [immigrants] do jobs — tending crops, washing dishes, mowing lawns — that native-born Americans do not want,” the Post claimed.   Continue reading “Jeff Bezos’ Washington Post: Import Foreign Workers to Replace Spoiled Americans”

ESCONDIDO, Calif., Aug. 27 (UPI) — U.S. Border Patrol arrested two men near San Diego after discovering more than $3 million in two separate vehicles, representing the largest cash seizure ever in the area, the agency said.

About 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, Border Patrol agents stopped a speeding Kia Forte in Escondido in San Diego’s North County. After a police dog alerted agents to search the car, eight vacuum-sealed bundles of cash were discovered in the center console, containing a total of $33,880.   Continue reading “U.S. Border Patrol seize more than $3M cash en route to Mexico”

An internal court of Israel’s ruling Likud Party has canceled a planned primary election for party leadership. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was announced the winner by default and will remain at the post through 2023.

The court, explaining its findings, stated that it would be unreasonable to spend $1 million of its party money to hold a vote, especially taking into account that Netanyahu would have been the only candidate.   Continue reading “Israel Primary Canceled, Netanyahu to Lead Likud Through 2023”

It was separate from the much larger laogai system of prison labour camps.

The main architect of Washington’s plan to rule the world has abandoned the scheme and called for the forging of ties with Russia and China. While Zbigniew Brzezinski’s article in The American Interest titled “Towards a Global Realignment” has largely been ignored by the media, it shows that powerful members of the policymaking establishment no longer believe that Washington will prevail in its quest to extent US hegemony across the Middle East and Asia. Brzezinski, who was the main proponent of this idea and who drew up the blueprint for imperial expansion in his 1997 book The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy and Its Geostrategic Imperatives, has done an about-face and called for a dramatic revising of the strategy. Here’s an excerpt from the article in the AI: Continue reading “The Broken Chessboard: Brzezinski Gives Up on Empire”

North Dakota — As the Lakota Sioux continue their peaceful blockade of the $3.8 billion Dakota Access Pipeline, the story’s absence from the national media narrative is palpable. Considering the corporate media’s chronic quest for controversial stories on government versus public standoffs, you’d think this situation would garner the typical media frenzy invoked during a right-wing militia occupation of a federal building, for example, or a tense standoff between the Black Lives Matter movement and police. But it’s not.   Continue reading “Why There’s a Media Blackout on the Native American Oil Pipeline Blockade”

City dwellers spend nearly every moment of every day awash in Wi-Fi signals. Homes, streets, businesses, and office buildings are constantly blasting wireless signals every which way for the benefit of nearby phones, tablets, laptops, wearables, and other connected paraphernalia.

When those devices connect to a router, they send requests for information—a weather forecast, the latest sports scores, a news article—and, in turn, receive that data, all over the air. As it communicates with the devices, the router is also gathering information about how its signals are traveling through the air, and whether they’re being disrupted by obstacles or interference. With that data, the router can make small adjustments to communicate more reliably with the devices it’s connected to.   Continue reading “All the Ways Your Wi-Fi Router Can Spy on You”

WASHINGTON, Aug. 26 (UPI) — A federal judge has ordered the State Department to review 15,000 emails Hillary Clinton did not turn over previously and release them to a conservative watchdog group by Sept. 13.

Judicial Watch has filed several lawsuits against Clinton, her top aides during her time as secretary of state and the State Department itself under the Freedom of Information Act to gain access to the unclassified communications Clinton had while using a private email server for government business.   Continue reading “Judge orders State Dept. to produce 15,000 Hillary Clinton emails by Sept. 13”
