There’s a brand new way to save the planet, and a group of professors from Oxford University wants to force the issue by assessing enormous taxes on foods said to have higher “climate impact.”
To make a long story short, they want to force everyone that doesn’t have a high income to become vegan by taxing the living daylights out of animal products. Harris County, TX – Caught on video deploying a Taser against a mother in a wheelchair simply recording her daughter’s arrest, several deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are under an internal affairs investigation for needlessly attacking the disabled woman. Instead of treating her like a human being, the deputies can clearly be seen grabbing her cellphone and throwing it away before tasing the disabled woman until she collapsed out of her wheelchair.
Last Wednesday, 36-year-old Sheketha Holman arrived at a Valero gas station in northwest Houston after discovering her daughter was under arrest for marijuana possession and criminal mischief. A surveillance camera recorded Holman in her wheelchair as she filmed her daughter’s arrest with her cellphone camera. South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley has accepted Donald Trump‘s offer to be his ambassador to the United Nations, a source familiar with the president-elect’s transition process confirmed to NBC News on Wednesday.

Among the most notorious are the Rainbow Girls — a group of female thieves, named for their brightly hued hair — who’ve hit dozens of stores in the Bay Area. Their high-stakes heists have included Ulta ULTA, +1.21% where the beauty burglars stole an estimated $11,000 worth of goods in less than two minutes. The mostly girl gang has also walked off with a combined more than $130,000 worth of luxury goods from Ferragamo, Louis Vuitton LVMUY, -2.57% Christian Dior and Sunglass Hut LUX, -0.37% , according to charges filed against a dozen members of the Rainbow Girls in the Bay Area in October. Unaccompanied minors are being used as deportation shields in the newest strategy by illegal immigrants to sneak into the country, an expert on the subject told The Washington Times.
